That's going to be tough to attach to all those claims he's smart.

Ironically, one of the smartest things he's ever said.
I didn't think he had the self awareness.

My whole political stance pretty much boils down to "I care about other people and the planet" and wow does that make some people mad.

We're paying millions of dollars for National Gaurdsmen to do landscaping work.

    Everyone rightfully hates this shit.
Lots of people in the Guard sign up for noble reasons. After all, their usual assignment before this dumpster fire of an administration was domestic humanitarian work. I'd bet a lot of them are rightfully pissed about what's happening, which leads to these kind of leaks.

Edit: Trump says it is okay to ignore immigration laws when in his mind they are just training workers. Also now a problem he offended a nation. Of course who he considers peasants or has a nation not backing them, fair targets.

Going to love the cuck Trump supporters now saying "we need skilled people in US not matter of documentation".

I'm not even going to comment on how bad our immigration is broken and this idiot of course don't want to fix but just break.

    Oh btw.

korean reporting is nightmarish on the conditions Korean workers were contained in

Read link they gave testimony of basically unscreened bathrooms, bound together, licking water to drink, etc.

Ahh I had to edit my quote a bit. Yes, basically Trump sees immigration reform might have an issue that a company couldn't just bring in people and train US workers. Then when it becomes an international incident and more importantly makes a corporation mad, its a problem.

For once he was telling the truth. Those arrested were highly skilled engineers. They were in the US to set up the machineries, systems and processes, and train the US crew on how to operate and maintain the machineries. This was normal. Geogia State authority has always turned a blind eye. Because the people with necessary skills and experiences to do that simply do not exist in Georgia.

Unfortunately, somebody forgot to inform Kristi Noem that.

Well, maybe they have some trained, capable people at one of the Georgia-Pacific plants? Let's see what they're up to.

    (reads news)

Billions in economic losses expected due to Georgia paper mill closures

    Oh no!

International Paper announced in August that it was closing two mills in Riceboro and two in Savannah at the end of September. Georgia-Pacific closed its paper mill in Cedar Springs at the end of July.

The closings will have a direct economic impact of $1.7 billion, according to Devon Dartnell, Forest Utilization Chief for the Georgia Forestry Commission. The indirect impact is $845 million. The effect due to the loss of wages is $318 million.

Trump calls Qatar "a great ally" wanna see the video? *ding*

"Does Trump know about the Israeli strikes?"

I remain unconvinced Trump knows how many children he has. I think he's telling the truth in that he wants Qatar to love him, I think it's possible he was trying to give Israel a message, why he couldn't do that by picking up a phone and calling is beyond me.

I mean, you really don't need an executive order to do that.

Agreed. Most of us have been doing it for the last 10 years anyways.

Stephen Colbert gets standing ovation at the Emmy's.

    Then he won one.

"That's because it's just commie librul elites! The award means nothing!"

Hmm. Trump sure seems to want one. If they mean nothing, why would Trump want one?

Donald Trump reveals plans to ‘quickly’ end war in Ukraine in ‘letter to world’

Trump believes if all NATO countries refused to buy oil from Russia, the conflict could be put to a stop. He also suggested placing tarrifs on China of 50% to 100% for its purchases of Russian petroleum. He suspects it “will break that grip” between the two countries, who have a strong alliance.

Trump posted a letter on his social media site, Truth Social, and described members of NATO who purchase Russian oil as "shocking". He also slammed the defence alliance for its commitment to ending the war, and said it has been "far less than 100 per cent".

He partially said: “I am ready to do major Sanctions on Russia when all NATO Nations have agreed, and started, to do the same thing, and when all NATO Nations STOP BUYING OIL FROM RUSSIA."
"Why does he need NATO to stop buying oil before putting sanctions on Russia?"

He doesn't. He could do it right now. He could go right to his desk and do it. He has chosen not to.

"If this would end the war very quickly, why didn't he do so already?"

Good question. I believe the last two questions are related. Trump is, in fact, not ready to put sanctions on Russia. He wants an excuse to tariff China. He wants to keep Putin happy and is making it sound like, somehow, it's other people's fault he hasn't punished Russia.

"Did Trump bring up his own meeting with Putin in Alaska, after which he suggested Ukraine just surrender land to Russia, when he was talking about commitment far less than 100 percent?"

    No.

"Did Trump point out his own blocking of his own arms sale to Ukraine when he was talking about commitment far less than 100 percent?"

    No.

"Why did Trump make this a tweet instead of going on live TV and interrupting the Emmy's? Or just a video?"

It probably has to do with Trump looking like a Reese's Pumpkin from last Halloween left out in the sun. He looks like shit and is dialing down public appearances. Also, if Hollywood hates him right now as much as everyone else who ever worked with him hates him, imagine if he interrupted one of their biggest nights just to claim he has a plan to DO SOMETHING! South Park would just be the locomotive of the train running his fat ass over.

"Why are countries like Turkey buying Russian oil, anyhow?"

Because it gets cold in Turkey in the winter, and they drive cars in Turkey all year long. You might not like it, but it's an economic reality akin to Americans buying Chavez' oil. You can read more about it here.

    "But Putin's a killer!"

There are a lot of killers. You think our country’s so innocent?

According to tRump, the Nobel Peace Prize also means nothing since Obama got one... but he desperately still wants it.
