Why am I posting this in the Trump thread you ask? Well, he claimed he was abducted by 4 Hispanics, while wearing a MAGA hat, even going as far as shooting himself in the fucking leg.

Even the NYPost admitted it was bullshit. Just weaponized racism.

Corey Lewandowski, a man with zero law enforcement experience, announces that ICE will be attending the Super Bowl as a completely normal, completely reasonable part of their job.

There is nowhere that you can provide safe haven to people in this country illegally. Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else.

We will find you. We will apprehend you. We will put you in a detention facility, and we will deport you. So know that that is a very real situation under this administration, which is completely contrary to what how it used to be.
    So the-

"How much is a ticket to the Super Bowl?"

Uh...well, according to StubHub at least, the tickets are mostly in the teens of thousands of dollars.

"And an illegal immigrant has that, to spend on entertainment?"

    Typically, no.

"So he's sending ICE there for..."

I mean, it's very realistic that a rich overseas visitor will attend, but visiting overseas is not illegal. Passports and what not.

"By what authority does Team Trump have to just announce federal law enforcement officers will be attending the Super Bowl at taxpayer expense?"

I mean, there's probably some kind of fine print about being on guard against terrorists, but last I checked, Trump supporters attended NFL games all the time.

What we have here is blatant racism. The announcement came shortly after the performer was named, so it is logical to conclude it's a direct result. At no point in Trump's first term did Trump send no-badge no-warrant masked armed officers to any Super Bowl before.

So, you know the deal. I will hear any Trump supporter who can post literally any reason why this isn't blatant racism. Failure to do so will be taken as admission that this is blatant racism, and their silence is acceptance and support of this blatant racism. I mean, how trivial would it be to say "Corey Lewandowski does not speak for me or Trump"? Took me ten seconds to type that.

The real embarrassing thing is that his cultists aren't even remotely embarrassed by him or his antics.

I will like to point out, that most smaller farms bailout money still wasn't enough, and it was big corpo farms that raked in the bailout benefits.

The first enemies list from the White House is out, has the names you'd expect.

Tim Walz, Gavin Newsom, JB Pritzker, Jasmine Crockett, Ayanna Pressley etc.

How very overtly and explicitly Nazi of them to publish a list of enemies!

Why is Nazi grandpa posting slop ai videos while the government is shut down?

    Every accusation is a confession.

    SPEAKING OF THAT SENTIMENT

    https://slate.com/news-and-politics/...gate-maga.html

Jack Posobiec is very concerned about voter fraud. An influential MAGA voice and prominent conspiracy theorist, he’s perhaps best known for amplifying the 2016 “Pizzagate” conspiracy, which culminated in a man firing a gun in a D.C. pizza restaurant. In the years since, Posobiec has loudly espoused a range of debunked conspiracy theories. That includes the GOP theory—once semi-fringe and now thoroughly MAGA mainstreamed—that Democrats have won elections via millions of fraudulent votes. The Republican National Committee last fall enlisted him to speak to poll watchers about election security. Posobiec is particularly focused on Pennsylvania, repeatedly accusing the state’s Democratic officials of fraud, even spreading conspiracy theories that were followed by an RNC lawsuit.

The focus on voter fraud in Pennsylvania is particularly ironic because it sure looks like, and a trail of documentation suggests, that Posobiec is living in Maryland but voting in Pennsylvania. If so, that would be a violation of voting laws, experts say.

The 40-year-old Posobiec has voted in Pennsylvania elections from 2004 to 2024, both in person and by mail, according to a copy of his voting record viewed by Slate and the Handbasket. Until 2016, Posobiec used military and civilian overseas ballots. After resigning from his job as a Navy Reserve intelligence officer in 2017, he remained in Maryland while becoming a full-time influencer and political activist with groups such as Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA. He continued voting in Pennsylvania via absentee ballots and, later, in-person on-demand mail voting, using his parents’ home address in 2018, 2022, and 2024, according to an official copy of his voter information file from Montgomery County obtained through a right-to-know request.

There’s nothing untoward about any of that, provided Posobiec actually lives in Pennsylvania. But the evidence is extremely strong that he doesn’t. Instead, it suggests that, despite growing up in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, Posobiec has lived in Maryland for almost a decade.
It seems another Republican "very concerned" with voter fraud is himself engaged in voter fraud. Again.

Another one, Nick Sortor, was arrested last night in Portland.

    https://www.nj.com/politics/2025/10/...g-mistake.html

    And he's not happy!

“You PROVED what we’ve all been saying for years: you’re CORRUPT and CONTROLLED by vioIent Antifa thugs who terrorize the streets,” Sortor alleged, before adding: “You thought arresting me would make me shut up and go away. You couldn’t have been more wrong.”
How dare they arrest someone from the Reich..I mean Right! He supposedly was arrested for fighting with a group that had lit an American flag on fire. He took it from them, and then proceeded to stomp on it to put the fire out. Which last I checked, throwing the flag on the ground and stomping on it also goes against the Flag code.

Gov. Tim Walz smeared ICE as the “modern-day Gestapo.”
Gov. Gavin Newsom likened ICE to “secret police,” calling them “authoritarian” and proclaiming a “right to push back.”
Gov. JB Pritzker claimed the country is becoming “Nazi Germany” because ICE is “grabbing people off the street… and disappearing them.”
Rep. Robin Kelly smeared ICE as the “Gestapo” and a “betrayal.”
Rep. Jasmine Crockett compared ICE to “slave patrols.”
Rep. Sylvia Garcia referred to ICE agents as “thugs.”
Rep. Delia Ramirez attacked ICE as “a terror force.”
Rep. Pramila Jayapal called ICE agents “deranged,” accused them of “kidnapping,” and said “resistance” to ICE is “inspiring.”
Rep. Rashida Tlaib said ICE is “terrorizing our communities” and “turning our country into a fascist police state,” and called it a “rogue agency.”
The backdrop to the left is criticism of Trump's divisive rhetoric. The number one response, really a political no-brainer, is to highlight and call attention to Democrats that preach their own divisive rhetoric in the face of increasing violence against ICE officers. The hypocrisy of his opponents is his biggest ally.

It comes as Antifa-associated individuals are showing up to court for the ambush attack at an ICE facility, where a cop was shot in the neck
Prosecutors also presented evidence that they allege shows the group had an anarchist and socialist ideology, including messages pulled from the encrypted messaging app Signal and materials produced by two of the suspects. Prosecutors also cited group members' participation in several organizations, including a book club characterized by prosecutors as "anarchist," and the Socialist Rifle Association, which is a leftist organized group that supports firearm training. Song was a member and leader in that group, but was removed from his position, the prosecution said.
The FBI says the group’s leader, Benjamin Song, can be heard saying, “get to the rifles.” Moments later, the officer is heard saying, “I’ve been hit.”

The FBI says Song fired 11 rounds from an AR-15 rifle equipped with a binary trigger, which doubles the rate of fire.

An FBI investigator also testified that some of the defendants identified with the anarchist ideology of Antifa and the phrase “All Cops Are Bastards.”

Some members also reportedly supported the Socialist Rifle Association.

Attorneys for some of the defendants challenged the credibility of the evidence.

According to a search warrant of Ines and Elizabeth Soto’s home, investigators found multiple binders, copiers, and printing materials of anarchist literature known as zines, along with first aid kits capable of treating gunshot wounds and tourniquets.
It also comes as violent protests at an ICE facility in Portland lead to arrests and charges
Federal authorities announced they have arrested 28 people in recent months at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in Portland for charges including assault on officers and destruction of property as President Donald Trump says he has sent troops to the city.

The arrests have been made amid protests outside the ICE field office in south Portland to oppose Trump's mass deportations of undocumented immigrants. Though largely peaceful, in some cases, the protests have included clashes with law enforcement and the use of tear gas.

The Justice Department said on Oct. 2 that a Portland woman made her first appearance in court on a charge of felony assault on a federal officer, making her the 28th arrest at the ICE office since June 13. Katherine Meagan Vogel, 39, was accused of applying red paint to the driveway at the ICE facility and, while being detained and processed, hitting an officer in the jaw with a closed fist, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Oregon said in a news release.

“Violence and property damage at the ICE building or any other federal building will not be tolerated," U.S. Attorney for the District of Oregon Scott E. Bradford said. "If you assault a federal law enforcement officer or damage federal property, you will be arrested and federally prosecuted."
Democratic elected Congressional representatives can and should be asked if they support punching federal officers (if they really, truly, believe them to be fascists and seek fascist overthrow), or if they think their divisive rhetoric encourages the violence we've seen happening in the country this year. Democratic Senator John Fetterman wrote "Unchecked extreme rhetoric, like labels as Hitler or fascist, will foment more extreme outcomes. Political violence is always wrong—no exceptions. We must all turn the temperature down." on his X account. Let's see if any other Democrats in his own party are similarly brave in confronting their violent fringe. If only to create some rhetorical distance between their own rhetoric and the rhetoric they consider unacceptable.

Oh look, you seem rather unphased by the president publishing lists of political enemies.

It continues to be interesting how unconcerned about the extensive overlaps with the rise of the Nazi's and fascism in general that Republicans continue to seem to be. Maybe y'all just like fascism? I think that's what it is.

edit: and "antifa associated individuals" show up to a court hearing? oh my, that is...uh...news? maybe?

fucking lmao, republicans are a fertile field

Come on, it's tehdang. We all know fascism and authoritarianism are a-okay as long as the Republicans are the ones doing it, and he will use whatever tortured, twisted logic he needs to convince himself of that.

"well you see the government has every right to MS paint "M S 1 3" onto abrego garcia's hands and use that as a justification to deport him unlawfully and then spend months fighting court orders."

If we're talking about your link, it appears to be quotes from Democratic leaders. I'm afraid that collecting actual quotes from Democratic representatives cannot be fairly called an "enemies list." It's a list of quotes vilifying ICE and who said them. Do you contest any of the quotes? Do you deny that they have been said among violent acts taken against ICE?

This is the first time that I believe I've heard quoting what Democrats say constitutes an "enemies list," but maybe that's just a sly way to deflect the focus from the content of what they said and the violence against ICE in America.

  19. #115079
Rep. Jerry Nadler accused ICE agents of “hiding misbehavior because otherwise why would they be wearing masks?”
Ah yes, clearly extremely violent rhetoric encouraging violence!

Why Republicans think anyone takes them seriously is beyond me.

    also -

Rep. Gil Cisneros claimed ICE has “terrorized” people through “racial profiling.”
A factual statement? ICE has said they use racial profiling, Tom Homan has bragged about it. And we've seen the videos of ICE terrorizing innocent Americans. Why are Republicans so triggered by facts and reality?

Not nearly as insane as you not recognizing the increasing violence of ICE officers, that has generated additional violence in resistance against their abuses.

You are not a serious person and you do not present serious takes. You're astroturf in an ill-fitting suit.
