Then there's something called hebophilia, where you're attracted to those at the early stages of puberty, 11, 12, 13, 14. And then there's ephebophilia, which is attraction to the later stages, 15, 16, 17, 18. But the reason we don't usually make that distinction is that it's really hard to explain the difference without sounding like a pedophile."

And nothing like explaining the types of pedophiles makes it you look more like a pedophile.

Google turns up a bunch more articles about it if you don't trust People.

Apparently she had a daughter born in 2011. Wonder if he were still alive, if she'd trust her daughter with Epstein next year, when she turns 15.
Someone should literally tell her to her face that "barely legal" means 18 and 19 years old. Not 15. Not 16. Not 17. Even with consent, relations with a 15, 16 or 17 year old people is still illegal if their legal guardians disapprove of it.

Only a person defending pedophiles or is a pedophile themselves, or any version of pedophilia whatever name it takes, would try to make that argument.

I would go so far to say 15, 16 or 17 should be illegal regardless if a legal guardian approves. That's how we get stories of a parent selling the kid to a drug dealer in exchange for a score. The only exception I could see if it was something like both parties are close to the same age and were dating before one of them turned 18. Meaning a 16 year old and 17 year old are dating, then the 17 year old turns 18. Wouldn't want them labeled a pedophile.

There is a thing for this - its called Romeo and Juliet laws.

    What they are:

Close-in-age exemptions: They are an exemption to strict statutory rape laws, which don't recognize consent from a minor.

Protection for teens: They are designed to prevent legal penalties for consensual relationships between teenagers who are close in age and who are both minors.

Not a full pass: They do not allow minors to consent to sex below the age of consent; rather, they offer a defense or lighter penalties in certain cases.

Examples of protection: These laws can lead to dropping charges, a reduction from a felony to a misdemeanor, or a reduction in penalties.

Not a perfect law, and there is a lot of nuance between cases, and not everywhere has them. But these do exist.

    On topic -

It is very disgusting as these people are trying to pass all these teens as "barely legal" as justification for what they are doing, this feels a whole lot like victim blaming.

Victim blaming is the only excuse they ever have with cases like this.

But the "barely legal" thing is just insane. That quite literally means the opposite of what she said it to mean...but she said it anyway. It gives me a minuscule glimmer of hope to think that these are the lengths they have to go to to defend Trump, because they know he's indefensible.

They mean "barely illegal". "Is it really assault and battery if I just slapped them around a bit?" "C'mon, I only stole a few thousand bucks from that gas station, you can just give me a pass, right?" And so on.

LOL. I've seen this tiktok clip too.
The distance between what is said and what is known to be true has become an abyss. Of all the things at risk, the loss of an objective reality is perhaps the most dangerous. The death of truth is the ultimate victory of evil. When truth leaves us, when we let it slip away, when it is ripped form our hands, we become vulnerable to the appetite of whatever monster screams the loudest.

Guys! Inflation has been solved! Biden could never do this. He could never ask DoorDash to solve shit for that dementia riddled- wait what? Say that again?

President Donald J. Trump’s bold economic agenda is delivering real results for American families — with new data from DoorDash’s State of Local Commerce report confirming that inflation has been tamed, everyday prices are beginning to drop, and wages are growing.

From breakfast tables to store shelves, President Trump’s agenda is lowering costs when families need it the most — fueling an economic comeback that is only just beginning as President Trump works to Make America Affordable Again.

    Here are the main takeaways:
    President Trump has tamed inflation.

The Breakfast Basics Index — which measures the price of three eggs, a glass of milk, a bagel, and an avocado — decreased 14% between March and September and 1.7% over the past year.
The Everyday Essentials Index — which measures the price of toothpaste, shampoo, toilet paper, laundry detergent, pain medicine, and diapers — fell over the past year.

Americans are beginning to see price declines.

Over the past year, prices actually declined for cheese, cereals & bars, fresh fruits, frozen meals, packaged meals, condiments, batteries, computers & accessories, phones & accessories, medicines, oral care, vitamins & supplements, outdoor products, and toys & games.

President Trump’s policies are fueling wage growth.

Nationally, wage growth is outpacing restaurant price increases — including at the city level in half of the cities studied.

    Local economies are resilient.

56% of consumers say they’ve seen fewer businesses close in their communities over the past year.
Overall food spend has increased by nearly 5% over last year — faster than prices have risen, suggesting “consumers are buying more from businesses in their communities.”
That's some of the dumbest propaganda Trump has tried to put out since he declared ocean water is the wettest water.

Forgive me for asking but is the State of Local Commerce report sponsored by doordash or is it a doordash report that sounds weirdly official?

Based on the apostrophe it sounds like it's Doordash that has the State of Local Commerce.

    Context is important.

The Breakfast Basics Index from DoorDash tracks the average price of three essential breakfast items: three eggs, a glass of milk, a bagel, and an avocado. As of September 2025, this index has decreased by 14% since March, primarily due to lower egg prices. The index's price range nationwide is from $3.21 to $6.66, with a national average of $4.35.

    Heh. Seriously.

I do like how it said "three items" and then lists 3 of one item and then 4 different items. They can't even propaganda right.

I was sure the reduction in eggs pulled most of the weight for this as well.

My guess is that it used to be just the latter three items, but they were forced to add eggs to the list in order to actually get the price to go down between March and September, since eggs are one of the only things that got cheaper, and only because they were sky-high early this year.

    Edit: Well, well, well...

I swear any time I think I am in the dumbest timeline ... it gets dumber. We are using numbers from Doordash to determine if prices dropped? Are you kidding me?

This is just insanity on a level I never expected to see. Like Doordash ... flipping Doordash?

Did you hear the rumors that the Epstein emails reveal that Trump sucked Bill Clinton's dick?
