I remember somewhere they pointed out how Trump had ads talking about Harris was for “They/Them” while Trump was for “We/Us”. He never told them which group he considered his supporters to be. Wonder how long before MAGA realizes that Trump and the Republicans always considered them part of the They/Them group.

    Trump in February 2016:

    "I love the poorly educated."

So, Trump finally released his big idea on lowering healthcare costs.

    Haggling.

Yep, haggle your way to lower prices. Instead of buying Cadillacs. Because that is what people are doing with all that money that people were saving before the BBB decided to remove the healthcare subsidies.

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/insu...d=BingNewsSerp

President Trump has made a bizarre statement regarding health insurance, claiming that Americans should negotiate the price themselves. The comments come as Trump's health officials and the White House’s Domestic Policy Council review several plans to address healthcare costs.

“They buy their own health insurance, they can negotiate price, and it’s going to be locked so they cannot go out and buy a Cadillac,” the president said while being interviewed at Palm Beach International Airport.
I mean, if it got any dumber, we might be seeing a legitimate de-evolution of the species.

Maybe y'all should found something like a union for healthcare customers. Imagine the haggling power of a couple million customers, getting a healthcare plan without the need to switch plans everytime you switch jobs. To make sure everyone knows it's open for everyone put "Public" in the name.

Happy House votes on the Epstein files day, everyone! Remember, any one who doesn't vote to release it, is outing themselves in the front of the world as a sympathizer of child sexual assault.
So any guesses if it even makes it to donald J. trebuchet's desk to sign it? I say, highly unlikely.
So this is how liberty dies, with thunderous applause.

I really hope that when he's out of power, the Republicans will realize that since hanging their nooses on Trump wasn't a good idea, they will instead turn on him toward the end of this term. End result will see Trump, hopefully, in an orange jumpsuit.

News is reporting an exchange he had with a reporter the same night he walked out of AF1 and the flag was on the ground. A reporter asked him if there was anything incriminating in the Epstein Files to which he looked at her and menacingly replied, "Quiet Piggy"
The distance between what is said and what is known to be true has become an abyss. Of all the things at risk, the loss of an objective reality is perhaps the most dangerous. The death of truth is the ultimate victory of evil. When truth leaves us, when we let it slip away, when it is ripped form our hands, we become vulnerable to the appetite of whatever monster screams the loudest.

Republicans in general aren't going seek that Trump is arrested ever, not unless a supermajority of Americans want it.

Donald Trump Snaps at Female Reporter Who Asks About Epstein Files: 'Quiet Piggy'

As if he has any right to call someone "piggy." Always the women he snaps at, though. Almost like there is a reason for that.

Won't fix the issues that are plaguing the USA.

Honestly I can see "old school" establishment GOP people and establishment Democrats (all Greek Life college buddies) trying to come together and do what you say however.

Don't pull it out in public and wave it around, though. Keep that penis in your pants, nobody outside your weekly orgies wants to know anything at all about your penis or how proud you are of it. Stop being so fucking weird about it.

Oh, look. With Comey, they said he didn't have one Constitutionally-mandated right, and with James, another. A violation of discovery is probably grounds for a mistrial, but I think James will instead press to have the case dismissed with prejudice. Not even Team Trump believe there's a case.
They don't need a case, they need people to fear speaking against Trump.
Although this could backfire if lawyers started defending these bullshit cases Pro Bono.

And given how craptacular the DoJ has been, that would be good PR.

Trump won't fucking shut up about yoinking World Cup from American cities.

"Didn't you post that he has no authority to do that?"

    Yes.

Trump is saying that the governors of these cities have high crime and need the National Guard to protect the football game.

"Which of these cities is currently having riots and other outbreaks of violent crime?"

Mostly DC, Jan 6, 2021, for which Trump did not call out the National Guard. In terms of World Cup cities, none.

"Didn't you post recently that Trump has lost court cases where he just invented a National Security Lol and couldn't send in troops?"

    Yes.

"Is football an exception to these cases?"

No. That's why Trump has said he's hoping the governors will ask for help, and hoping the FIFA people will move the games of their own accord.

"How often does FIFA relocate games?"

    Almost never.

"Why football? Trump has not shown interest in until just recently."

Because the economy is tanking and he rapes children.

I don't even get why he would want to do this, what is the issue with Trump claiming responsibility for hosting a 'prestigious' event like the world cup that brings 10s of thousands of tourists and lots of economic spending?
Other then FIFA refusing to gargle his nuts.

Actually no it makes perfect sense...

If they cared they would have done it at the end of his first term.

Republicans are not afraid of Trump, or the damage he is doing to the party. They are afraid of their own followers murdering them, considering the lynch mob that wanted to get Mike Pence that seems like a reasonable fear.
And that threat doesn't go away when Trump steps down or gets removed.
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

I don't disagree, but I think telling a reporter "quiet piggy" is pretty fucking despicable and on another level compared to other attacks. Like, there is literally no way to defend saying to a woman just asking a question, "Quiet piggy".

I never gave any indication they ACTUALLY cared. It's going to be a case of attempting to save their own hides from voters at the end of the day.

I think we're going to see less and less MAGA nutters over the next 3 years and I still hold to the fact it's going to be difficult to find a single person who will openly admit they voted for Trump by the time 2028 rolls around.

He's a sociopathic narcissist who wants to be the man in charge of everything. But also, he's a coward fucking pussy bully who wants to use his power to force others to do what he wants. He's basically saying "ask me for troops, or I'll kill your tourism event". Straight-up mafia boss territory. Or, you know, dictator.

There's a reason I continue to call Trump an obese fat fucking fat fuck, but have backed off fat-shaming other people he works/worked with. Trump in the 2016 runoff called Fiorina too ugly to vote for. So yes it's despicable, yes it's deplorable, yes it's horrible, no it's not on another level, he's done it plenty. It's both horrible on its own merits and horrible as a means of distraction from the damage he willfully did to the economy, the job market, health care, food for the hungry, taxes, and of course, raping children.

Until Trump is out of the picture the GOP will be hitched to him.

They’re utterly spineless. And moreover, so long as he keeps them in power… what do they care? They can line their pockets or punish brown people or both or whatever other selfish reason they stick around in politics for.

Sure Trump occasionally lashes out and scuds one from office, but much like their voters the GOP representatives are not immune to the “leopards won’t eat my face!” that drives their entire party’s petty cowardice. Maybe the representatives have a bit more of a realist appreciation of the subject, but that would only go so far as to scare them into complacency, not into errantly believing that trump is on their side like their base think.
