And the mail didn’t look like any code word. I believe Trump played the skin flute of another man.

This is a guy who claimed to be a germaphobe while simultaneously bragging how dodging STDs in sex parties was his own personal Viet Nam and staring the wrong way at his own daughter since she was in grade school. Yeah, he is the type to do it, enjoy it, then deny it while punishing others who did the same.

Oh, look. With Comey, they said he didn't have one Constitutionally-mandated right, and with James, another. A violation of discovery is probably grounds for a mistrial, but I think James will instead press to have the case dismissed with prejudice. Not even Team Trump believe there's a case.
gosh it really seems like donald is engaged in the widespread phony political prosecutions that republicans claimed democrats were doing

and it's extra funny because all the competent people with pronouns in their signatures have quit/been fired so they're the actual "DEI hires" that they decried who are unqualified buffoons purely hired because they're conservative cultists.

Ah yes, nothing like expecting a patient to negotiate the rate for their open heart surgery with the hospital as they get rushed into the ER on a stretcher.
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

It isn't even a new plan. He just wants to go back to before the ACA became a thing.

democrats should play those congressional hearing videos of tearful former insurance employees talking about how they were pressured to deny life-saving treatment or coverage to people to save the insurance company money and the trauma it left many of them with. and they weren't even the ones dying/with family dying.

If Bubba was a drug then the email makes no sense unless you know a drug you expel out instead of taking in and they were talking about how Putin has pictures. I think it's just like the rest of his emails which were pretty straight forward, Trump is bisexual and had sex with a man named Bubba. Putin has pictures of it which explains why he is so meek whenever he meets him.

I'm just gonna note that this is kind of funny to read since they're both named James.

There is another possibility, and it's that the rumor going around the internet is Bubba was the name of Ghislaine Maxwell's horse...

I'm mostly wondering what the money he hands to taxpayers is supposed to go to. "Hmm, I know I lost my government-subsidized health care, but I will somehow find a plan that's both better and cheaper without collective bargaining"?

There's a reason we still have Medicare and Medicaid instead of "Oh, you're sick? Here's $500 good luck".

He thinks that insurance companies will negotiate with anyone. It is delusional.

Not to mention that getting an extra $2000 isn't going to cover insurance people need.

I think we're going to be in for a very messy divorce in the GOP by next Christmas. Mommy and Daddy going to be fighting so hard nobody is getting presents because all that's going to take all the focus is their fight.

I think we're due for an epic wipeout in Congress.

I know this is anecdotal, but there is a right-leaning website I always comment on. I figure there certainly are a lot of bots but not all.

What I've seen lately that I wasn't seeing 5-6 months ago, is every negative comment I have about Trump would always end up with 1-5 likes and like 50 dislikes. Now, I look at today for example, I'm sitting at 44 Upvotes and 20 Downvotes on all my posts. And I've been seeing this a lot.

The electorate is already sick of Trump and we're going to see it in 2026. The GOP that remain in congress? Well, this is going to be their reaction:

The distance between what is said and what is known to be true has become an abyss. Of all the things at risk, the loss of an objective reality is perhaps the most dangerous. If this comes off as ignorant, please let me know

    But....

Why can't we meet in the middle on health care? It doesn't need to be run by the government, it can still be free market. It just needs to be regulated.

Require by federal law that all employers provide health care options. And cap the percentage of pay the employee contributes per pay period. This would add a lot of companies shopping for health care options, which if the free market does what is expected to, would foster competition and making room for more insurance providers.

If you ask me, if a company cannot afford to keep their employees healthy, they can't afford employees.

Trump being LGBTQ is, hilariously, one of the few things that might get his base to fracture with him.

Not him being an atheist; they can just pretend he isn’t.

Not him having sex with the underage or sexually assaulting a woman, that’s all just “rumors and liberal slander and the democrats do the same thing too I’m sure”

Not him cheating on his wives, that’s just “mistakes of the past/nobody is perfect/boys will be boys”

But (ostensibly) consensual sex with another man? Unthinkable. Deal breaker.

Though I suppose the trumpist’s ability to plug their ears and go “lalalalala” is rather robust. It is, however, fun to needle them about.

You’re asking mega corporations to provide healthcare for employees, that’s where you messed up.

Those mega corporations will pay big money to lobbyists to ensure they don’t have to pay money to give employees healthcare.

The government does not provide/run health care, at least not outside the VA. The only government-provided healthcare comes through the military/VA etc.

Single payer is just the government being the payment provider, which is what they do with Medicare already.

Does nothing to solve any problems, and is how the vast majority of people currently get health insurance.

Which could place too much of a burden on smaller businesses or those with small margins who can't afford to cover a bigger party, potentially leaving them unable to comply with the law or providing substandard health insurance.

There were many options. They get gobbled up and consolidated, and they all have a vested interest in keeping costs low by denying coverage for care or declining to enroll potentially expensive customers.

Sure. But if health insurance becomes too expensive then the only companies that can afford to pay for it will be larger companies. Not exactly a great outcome either.

The ACA is the "middle ground", and it highlights how shitty the middle ground is.

The richest country in the world should not have to rely in your job providing healthcare for you. It should be a basic human right.

I don't think plugging their ears is working they are melting down all over the place because you can't unsee it. Trump constantly talking about his pretty ballroom, grabbing and holding hands with Saudi Arabia's MBS not to mention the constant playing of the YMCA. Trump is a zesty drag queen who loves purdy purdy things.

Not sure if this has been brought up yet, but judge rules against TX redistricting for the mid-terms.

    https://www.cnn.com/2025/11/18/polit...p-court-ruling

A federal court Tuesday blocked Texas from using its newly drawn congressional map in next year’s midterms, ruling that the map is likely an unconstitutional racial gerrymander.
Oh, you mean the same think the DOJ is going after CA for.....
