lindsey graham, rafael cruz, marco rubio, etc. etc. etc.

i'm tired of people thinking that these folks want to be redeemed or are redeemable. at this point it's been roughly a decade of them choosing to be terrible, awful, no-good people who will always come running back to gargle donald's balls no matter what happens. because the republican party has set itself up like a cult for a long time now (see "saint reagan") and it just so happened that somehow reality tv star and legendary sleezeball donald trump ended up being the one to take the figurehead position

The only way I could see any of them repenting is if they were given a fatal diagnosis, and like 6 months to live.
That happens, suddenly people get a whole heapin helpin of the Jesuses*.
    Otherwise no change.

Japanese Kei cars are cute. As usual, Japan is ahead of us. Although I will be scared driving those on US highways.

It’s not getting nearly enough attention that the Paramount bud for WB is majorly financed by the Saudis and the Qataris. One of the most important American media brands could soon be controlled by people who think it’s OK to execute women for looking a man in the eyes. If that happens it won’t be long before Fox News is thought of as the liberal news channel.

In addition, like the EA merger, it's also being financed by Jared Kushner.

He may have just pulled out if the reports are to be believed but he’s still involved behind the scenes as a facilitator for sure. The whole thing stinks to high heaven and is just another step closer to right wing extremists controlling everything of consequence in this world.

They can try, fentanyl is used in medication so good luck. Also, you could say the same about automobile emissions, with the difference being decades of evidence backing it up.

Fentanyl is not a weapon. Neither is cocaine. This is purely Trump making shit up hoping it'll let him continue to murder people.

Thing is, he doesn't actually need an excuse like this. He's got an entire year to murder brown people with impunity before the Dems can even hope to retake the legislature and stop him...because no one with the power to do so right now is going to bother.

Yeah. No fatties. People with broad shoulders will feel cramped also.

In a statement to CBS News on Tuesday, the Department of Homeland Security, which oversees USCIS, did not dispute the planned suspension of applications. The agency said "the Trump Administration is making every effort to ensure individuals becoming citizens are the best of the best."

Yep, not only has the administration halted all asylum cases from 24 countries, but it has also halted both Greencard and Citizenship applications, and even halted planned citizenship ceremonies for people from these 24 countries.

Trump administration abruptly cancels citizenship ceremonies for some immigrants

The original number of banned countries was 19, and subsequently 5 was added. As many as 30 could be on the list before the end of the year.

Trump just declared war on Venezuela.

Until such time as they return to the United States of America all of the Oil, Land, and other Assets that they previously stole from us
I was unaware Venezuela stole land from the United States. Or, well, anything else, either.

Trump supporters: not only have you willfully elected someone incompetent in economics, you also willfully elected someone who started a war for oil.

    Trump didn't say.

"What happened to cause this announcement?"

Probably the economy tanking. The single biggest thing the GOP is supposed to be good at, and Trump is failing in public on purpose due to his willing direct actions. He needs a distraction and he needs it now.

    "What will this be about?"

Probably committing war crimes. He knows announcing legal prosecutions like this makes the cases worse, not better. He won't reduce tariffs. There's no reason to believe this is Ukraine and Russia making peace and, for some reason, waiting for Trump to announce it. So I'm predicting an announcement of more violent war crimes on the open seas and/or Venezuela.
State of Emergency so he can do whatever he wants for the "safety of the nation" - say hello to emperor Trump.

Or, given the timing, he might be announcing some investigations or indictments on some people who aren’t him over the Epstein list and saying that because of those, much of the information can’t be released without jeopardizing the “investigation” into these patsies.

It’s the 17th and he is supposed to be releasing them by the 18th. So the timing lines up.

Trump does not want to get in front of the cameras and say the word "Epstein". He'd rather declare war on a random South American country without cause.

True enough, but he doesn’t have to be the one to actually say it. He just needs the cameras to be there to record someone of his administration say it.

And he is going to do everything he can to avoid releasing that stuff short of answering who bubba is.

Him announcing he is charging democrats in connection with the list and they can’t release parts of it because of it would then have to go through the courts most likely while throwing some meat to his cult.

But might be right, he might just withhold all the important shit he has spent months having the fbi and doj sifting through them to look for while praying his estate doesn’t have anything else. Assuming he isn’t going to try and raid his estate for more “evidence” in the indictments he announces.

But could see him announcing a fake war to distract from the release the following day. His tactic of covering up one scandal with another has worked for a decade now.
