Well, I mean, he is talking about revoking the broadcast license of NBC because they had an interview with a Democrat Senator.

    No, literally, that is why.

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/entertainm...d=BingNewsSerp

President Donald Trump threatened NBC's broadcast license days after the network aired an interview with Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA).

"Raphael Warnock was on Meet the Fake Press with a one sided and very biased Kristen Welker as the Host(ess!)" Trump ranted on Wednesday. "Warnock spent the entire show using Religion to try and divide the Country! If a Republican, in particular ME, made those statements, it would be FRONT PAGE NEWS."

"He ended by saying that he was going to his Church to preach now, and while I think that's fine, I do say, 'What ever happened to separation of Church and State?' That would be the first thing they would use against us but, actually, it's something that never much bothered me," he continued. "Anyway, Warnock is a LIGHTWEIGHT whose wife correctly states that he tried to run her over with a car. Fortunately, she was able to get out of the way, and only almost lost her foot. Warnock is a bad guy, and NBC News, which is second only to ABC Fake News for being the worst, should be ashamed of themselves in allowing garbage "interviews" with untalented and uncaring people to take place."

Trump then suggested that the Federal Communications Commission, or FCC, should investigate NBC.

"The Public airwaves, which these Networks are using at no charge, should not be allowed to get away with this any longer!" he wrote. "They should be properly licensed, and pay significant amounts of money for using this very valuable Public space."

The president's remarks came just hours after FCC Chair Brendan Carr told a Senate committee that he had the power to shut down broadcast networks for satirical speech.
The bolded part is important because it also shows that this administration is looking to take literal action against anyone that speaks ill of it.

EDIT: I want to add onto that bolded part. Here is part of what was said at the Senate committee hearing.

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...d=BingNewsSerp

Indeed, the committee's Republican chair opened the panel's first oversight hearing into the FCC in several years by saying it is "long past time" for reforms to the nearly-century old law under which the commission has initiated investigations into broadcasters. He also insisted the FCC not see itself as an arbiter of truth.

In his opening statement, Cruz called it a "simple truth" that Congress should bring an end to the FCC's public interest standard and what he called its "wretched offspring," the commission's news distortion rule.

Both, he said, "have outlived whatever utility they once had, and it is long past time for Congress to pass reforms."

In a brief back-and-forth with Carr, Cruz said that the public interest standard had been "weaponized against conservatives" during past administrations, and that threats of commission action against disfavored content amounts to "an unconstitutional coercion that chills protected speech."

"Democrat or Republican, we cannot have the government arbitrating truth or opinion," Cruz said.
Even Ted Cruz is calling out Carr for basically calling it what it is, government censorship via coercion. You either don't speak ill or have any viewpoints of any kind that go against the administration or you lose your ability to even broadcast. First Amendment be damned.

Oh, no! Who could have seen this coming! Oh, right, literally all of us.

Trump just wanted to get in front of the cameras again without having to answer questions like "why is everything you do failing" and "why are we starting an unprovoked war for oil".

In a way he’s right, if bidden had just used that presidential immunity, he could have Epsteined him and murica along with the rest of the world woulda been better off.

And he goes straight up trying to bribe the military with money while sending them to war, why do I suspect this cash gift won’t actually go out like the other ones.

damn, where's tehdang to say how that's totally not what this is and how this is totally not what he claimed the twitter files were (but weren't)

it really is crazy how florida's fairly sustained assault on the first amendment during the first trump term seems to have been a blueprint for republicans as a party, moving forward.

Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell asks court to set aside her conviction

Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted co-conspirator of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, on Wednesday asked a federal court to vacate or correct her conviction and 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking of minors and other offenses -- a move that could complicate the release of the Epstein files as mandated by a new law.
    surprise surprise

Oh, and just for shits and giggles, because what else do we have these days? From Trump's rally in Pennsylvania:

Remember when I started, I said, "We're going to stop the raping." Women in those caravans, a name conceived of by me. Because it's a caravan, thousands of people, 10, 15, 20,000 people coming up. The women in those caravans are being raped in unprecedented numbers by other people in the caravans. By them not coming, they're not even trying to come now because they know they can't get through. We're doing a tremendous service, because they're not being killed and they're not being raped and they're not… They're staying back in their country where they've been. And they've been taken care of.
Donald Trump, the great inventor of the bestest words, also saver of many lives by stopping them from crossing the border.

How fucking weak and pathetic. Little mother fucking orange little bitch. How fucking weak is this painted fucking turd that he can't undo what was done by an autopen? What a fucking failure of a fat piece of shit.
The distance between what is said and what is known to be true has become an abyss. Of all the things at risk, the loss of an objective reality is perhaps the most dangerous. The death of truth is the ultimate victory of evil. When truth leaves us, when we let it slip away, when it is ripped form our hands, we become vulnerable to the appetite of whatever monster screams the loudest.

He's panicking. Epstein Files are tomorrow..?
“But this isn’t the end. I promise you, this is not the end, and we have to regroup and we have to continue to fight and continue to work day in and day out to create the better society for our children, for this world, for this country, that we know is possible.” ~~Jon Stewart

I am going to go with "Its been 15 minutes so Trump has to remind everyone that it's totally not his fault and must be someone else's problem." bit.

Because during Biden's administration, he literally crashed weddings held at Mar-a-Lago to complain about the election being stolen. Or how Biden was a bad President. Or how Obama was X, Y or Z.

Nothing says "Leader" than blaming everyone else.

EDIT: On a good note, he interrupted the Survivor's finale. So there is that. Anything to interrupt any fake reality shows is a plus in my book.

Every time trump does one of these speeches I am left mystified on how this man is the great strong hero of the right. He is a whiner, not some commando draped in the American flag. No man worth a grain of salt would spend so much of thier life complaing and blaming all their problems on others, over and over again, the same old shit. Is this the "man problem" Scott Galloway keeps talking about, is trump responible for the pusification of the American male?
    What. A. Bitch.

you owe me a coke gondrin.
My whole political stance pretty much boils down to "I care about other people and the planet" and wow does that make some people mad.

Because that is literally, LITERALLY, one of the most defining features of the far-right.

    Grievances.

That has been their whole identity for a long while. If they don't have something to complain about or hate against, they literally don't have anything to talk about.

Something else got lost in the news cycle yesterday, it might actually be the reason Bitch Boss Baby interrupted Survivor for his personal infomercial.

Jack Smith tells lawmakers his team developed 'proof beyond a reasonable doubt' against Trump
WASHINGTON (AP) — Former Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith told lawmakers in a closed-door interview Wednesday that his team of investigators “developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt” that President Donald Trumphad criminally conspired to overturn the results of the 2020 election, according to portions of his opening statement obtained by The Associated Press.

Smith also said investigators had accrued “powerful evidence” Trump broke the law by hoarding classified documents from his first term as president at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, and by obstructing government efforts to recover the records.

“I made my decisions in the investigation without regard to President Trump’s political association, activities, beliefs, or candidacy in the 2024 presidential election,” Smith said. “We took actions based on what the facts and the law required — the very lesson I learned early in my career as a prosecutor.”
How many cover-up can one administration handle? Here is yet another ball they have to juggle, and try to keep all their lies straight.
Oh, btw, did we talk about one Mr. "Bogo" Dan Bongino leaving his post at the FBI next month? Mr "I'll get to the bottom of the shadowy government organizations!"
I guess he has enough info for the next few years for his podcasts.

"It's a miracle," Team Trump crows, "the inflation report we had an extra month to massage, after firing a bunch of people who would have ratted us out, was lower than all the professionals we can't control had independently collectively confirmed!"

Yeah, the 2.7% CPI number is false. It's higher than when Trump took office, they tried to make a believable lie, but the evidence lies with everyone else. I'm looking forward to the reports from other sources when companies start defending their own interests instead of defending Trump.

“He... said (not exact) ‘Susie told me I have to give an address to [the] nation,’” she wrote on X. “They went back and forth on length, and he said ‘how did I do?’ Wiles said ‘I told you 20 minutes and you were 20 minutes on the dot.’ The president then thanked the press and walked out.”
Why the stupid, pointless "address" where donny cried about biden?

because his chief of staff was too honest with how incompetent and stupid everyone in the administration is in a vanity faire interview and she panicked.

yes, everything is this fucking stupid.

House Democrats release 68 new photos from Epstein estate

I remember there being a thread for all this stuff, but I couldn't find it, so here will have to do.

Has everyone been banned? Mighty quiet around here for Epstein files eve.
No jokes about trump's hand-picked people voted to renamed the Kennedy Center to the trump Kennedy Center?
