I am going to go with "Its been 15 minutes so Trump has to remind everyone that it's totally not his fault and must be someone else's problem." bit.

Because during Biden's administration, he literally crashed weddings held at Mar-a-Lago to complain about the election being stolen. Or how Biden was a bad President. Or how Obama was X, Y or Z.

Nothing says "Leader" than blaming everyone else.

EDIT: On a good note, he interrupted the Survivor's finale. So there is that. Anything to interrupt any fake reality shows is a plus in my book.

Every time trump does one of these speeches I am left mystified on how this man is the great strong hero of the right. He is a whiner, not some commando draped in the American flag. No man worth a grain of salt would spend so much of thier life complaing and blaming all their problems on others, over and over again, the same old shit. Is this the "man problem" Scott Galloway keeps talking about, is trump responible for the pusification of the American male?
    What. A. Bitch.

you owe me a coke gondrin.

Because that is literally, LITERALLY, one of the most defining features of the far-right.

    Grievances.

That has been their whole identity for a long while. If they don't have something to complain about or hate against, they literally don't have anything to talk about.

I can only see the hardest of the hardcore trumpanzees going to see this. And I hope it's a massive money sink for them.

Something else got lost in the news cycle yesterday, it might actually be the reason Bitch Boss Baby interrupted Survivor for his personal infomercial.

Jack Smith tells lawmakers his team developed 'proof beyond a reasonable doubt' against Trump
WASHINGTON (AP) — Former Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith told lawmakers in a closed-door interview Wednesday that his team of investigators “developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt” that President Donald Trumphad criminally conspired to overturn the results of the 2020 election, according to portions of his opening statement obtained by The Associated Press.

Smith also said investigators had accrued “powerful evidence” Trump broke the law by hoarding classified documents from his first term as president at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, and by obstructing government efforts to recover the records.

“I made my decisions in the investigation without regard to President Trump’s political association, activities, beliefs, or candidacy in the 2024 presidential election,” Smith said. “We took actions based on what the facts and the law required — the very lesson I learned early in my career as a prosecutor.”
How many cover-up can one administration handle? Here is yet another ball they have to juggle, and try to keep all their lies straight.
Oh, btw, did we talk about one Mr. "Bogo" Dan Bongino leaving his post at the FBI next month? Mr "I'll get to the bottom of the shadowy government organizations!"
I guess he has enough info for the next few years for his podcasts.

"It's a miracle," Team Trump crows, "the inflation report we had an extra month to massage, after firing a bunch of people who would have ratted us out, was lower than all the professionals we can't control had independently collectively confirmed!"

Yeah, the 2.7% CPI number is false. It's higher than when Trump took office, they tried to make a believable lie, but the evidence lies with everyone else. I'm looking forward to the reports from other sources when companies start defending their own interests instead of defending Trump.

“He... said (not exact) ‘Susie told me I have to give an address to [the] nation,’” she wrote on X. “They went back and forth on length, and he said ‘how did I do?’ Wiles said ‘I told you 20 minutes and you were 20 minutes on the dot.’ The president then thanked the press and walked out.”
Why the stupid, pointless "address" where donny cried about biden?

because his chief of staff was too honest with how incompetent and stupid everyone in the administration is in a vanity faire interview and she panicked.

yes, everything is this fucking stupid.

It's worse. He also installed engraved brass plaques on his presidential walk of fame and managed to mention himself in nearly all if them going back to Reagan. It will take a full four years of the next president just to remove all of this pointless ego-stroking, which I guess is the point.

The Epstein thread has been oddly quiet despite this already being the second photo dump this week...

I think the mmo-c meta is maybe going in weird places. The whole newscape is changing with people using youtube/tiktok as thier primary news source.

I think on both counts there’s a bit of “what’s left to be said?”

Most everyone is convinced Trump is a child abuser, photos or corroborating documents or the current lack of them from a mobiously large list of documents that have been tinkered with in some fashion aren’t going to change people’s minds at this point. And it’s a similar thing for “Trump does dumb, self-aggrandizing thing.” Like… yeah. Nobody is going to stop him, all that matters is that hopefully the next administration takes it upon themselves to expunge as much evidence of his presidency as possible.

So last night Trump with is infinite grasp of numbers, figures that he cut drug prices by 600%!

    Lutnick:

FOX: If you cut something by 100%, the cost goes down to 0. If you cut it by 600%, the drug companies are actually paying you

LUTNICK: What he's saying is if a drug was $100 and you bring it down to $13, it's down 7 times

    F: Not a 600% cut

    L: But it's 700% higher price before. It's down 700% now

I love when they defend Trump as come across just as stupid. Great math here by Lutnick explaining Trump's math.

Between all his ego stroking changes it will probably cost billions just to clean up his naming messes.

Nice, Trump Media Group merging with TAE (fusion / nuclear power plant company) that he's been funneling government funds to which will end up back in his pockets ^^
