Trump is a sociopath. He is unable to understand the thoughts and feelings of others. That's why he keeps telling them they are getting richer when all evidence says they are not.

Bolded for emphasis. Middle/lower class Americans are not spending, are going further into debt, and have income growth below Trump's increasing inflation.

Trump is bad for America. Everyone knows it. Half of them would just literally die than admit they're wrong, and each day, that gets closer to being literal.
Seeing stuff like this, and then seeing working class and poor people actively work against the idea of increasing taxes on the wealthy, just makes me want to drive a nail through my brain.

I related this anecdote earlier but it bears repeating…

A bit ago I made a legion remix timewalker on Stormrage US, not realizing that apparently it’s the dumpster server for 4chan trolls and boomer MAGAts. At any rate, against my better judgement I got into it with some avowed trumpsters talking shit in trade chat about, among other things, how Trump was succeeding in tamping down the “rampant illegal immigration” Biden had let happen. When, while listing Trump’s many faults, I brought up the spike in measles being due to vaccine misinformation from the Trump administration, they answered that it wasn’t due to Trump, it was due to the illegals flooding the border. And so I proffered… if trump is doing such a good job of stopping illegal immigrants where Biden failed, why are we only seeing the “measles spike from illegal immigrants” happening under Trump, and so politely asked them whether trump was failing at addressing measles or failing at addressing illegal immigrants. To which they had no response.

So no, this isn’t just random misinformation from paid Trump mouthpieces. There are legitimate people out there in the world voting who believe it, despite the extremely obvious nonsensical nature of it.

Ah, Schroedinger's border strikes again, it's both wide open to let in sick people but also closed and secure to keep unwanted foreigners out.

we should be charging these parents with child endangerment

republicans love kids as nothing more than political props, hence why they're so casual about school shootings.

Interestingly enough, their own agency's data contradict their conclusion.

    CDC Measles Cases and Outbreaks

Scroll down to "Map of measles cases among U.S. residents." The scroll further down to "Percent Vaccinated."

Yes, correlation does not equal causation. Still very interesting correlation.

Breaking news: Donald Trump has sued JPMorgan Chase and its chief executive Jamie Dimon, seeking at least $5bn in damages over claims the biggest US bank unfairly closed his account for political reasons
    https://bsky.app/profile/financialti.../3mczsjag5lw27

A sitting President who has power and influence over US banking companies is personally suing a bank. For $5 billion extortion of course.

Remember that Trump always uses the shield that a sitting President cannot be sued.

Must be nice to have such an advantage.

*sinking seems to be the right wording in this case.
My whole political stance pretty much boils down to "I care about other people and the planet" and wow does that make some people mad.

it's just shifting blame, like it always is.

their policies over the past year have shit all over this economy because of how unhinged they've been and they're absolutely going to do the "WELL THE PRIOR ADMINISTRATION IS TO BLAME" thing because there are usually delayed effects.

while also claiming credit for the actual delayed effects of many of the policies combatting the opioid crisis that have resulted in a reduction in deaths

though it's curious that "affordability" is no longer a hoax? i thought it was a hoax?

i also thought the economy was doing super duper well under donald?

wait, fuck, i'm using literally any part of my brain, not thinking like a republican

    Here is the CNN link.

Incidentally, Trump was never publicly worth $5 billion, so the damages are bullshit.

Second, JP Morgan dropped Trump because their contract said they were allowed to - Trump did lead a murderous insurrection, after all. They didn't look at the contracts and say "well we can't drop him, but will anyhow".

Thirdly, this happened just after JP Morgan (and everyone else) said "10% credit card cap is stupid". There is no chance Trump waited for four years then suddenly remembered JP Morgan dropped him.

This lawsuit is pointless threatening. JP Morgan should countersue.

    "On what grounds?"

Whatever grounds Trump says he has. "And since Trump sued for 200% of his net worth," they can say, "we're suing for 200% of ours. That's one point seven trillion dollars."

Actually, I've seen some headlines here and there that Trump used the same practices he tried to have Letita James brought up on. I wonder if any of those loans Trump himself said were illegal were in JP Morgan's hands? Surely they have backup copies...

Our investigation revealed that Donald Trump is the person who caused Jan. 6, that it was foreseeable to him and that he sought to exploit the violence.

We followed the facts and we followed the law -- where that led us was to an indictment of an unprecedented criminal scheme to block the peaceful transfer of power.

by the way, the administration edited the image of one of the activists they arrested for "protesting in a church" to make her seem like she's crying

this is why i continue to say, daily, that these people are fundamentally bad, amoral people who are genuinely irredeemable

There's been a lot of press praising Rutte and giving him credit for Trump's changed stance on Greenland. Except Rutte had nothing to do with it, it was the US military leaders that convinced him it was a bad idea. If the EU is pinning hopes on Rutte's diplomacy to save the day next time, that seems like wishful thinking.

If you don't remember JP Morgan Chase was one of the few banks not to give Trump his bribe to build the Jeffrey Epstein ballroom. Their CEO Jamie Dimon went on TV and said that they can't give that money because they have to think of the future. It's most likely that comment got stuck in the toddler in chief craw and he is trying to get Chase to help him build his pedophile glam room.
