I wouldn't be surprised if the Pentagon was certainly quite concerned about the fate of its all-important bases in Europe, amongst other issues, if escalation happened. As much as Europe is highly dependant on American command structure, technology and logistics for its defense, America also very much relies on European soil for its power projection needs.

Inflation rose 2.8% in November, up from October. Inflation is still rising.

It was also looking to be on pace to hit 2% total for 2025 before Trump took office. Inherited a recovering economy and immediately starts to fuck it up.

Trump, with a straight face, tells reporters the bruise on his hand was hitting it on a table at Davos.

"The bruise he's had for months and months, happened last week."

That's what they're going with, yes.

    "Are they even trying?"

    No.

Trump sues NYTimes and Siena Polling for $15 billion for a poll in 2024 saying he and Harris were tied.

    "That's fucking retarded."

    Yes.

Trump sued the Times for $15 billion in September 2025, but U.S. District Judge Steven Merrday dismissed the lawsuit, accusing Trump's legal team of filling the complaint against the news outlet with "tedious and burdensome" language that had no bearing on the legal case.

As such, Trump filed an amended complaint, which the Times maintains is a meritless intimidation attempt to silence the outlet, saying that the president's complaint attempts to "stifle independent reporting" and "generate P.R. attention."

In a message posted on Truth Social on Thursday, Trump wrote: "The Times Siena Poll, which is always tremendously negative to me, especially just before the Election of 2024, where I won in a Landslide, will be added to my lawsuit against The Failing New York Times."

"Our lawyers have demanded that they keep all Records, and how they 'computed' these fake results — Not just the fact that it was heavily skewed toward Democrats," Trump wrote. "They will be held fully responsible for all of their Radical Left lies and wrongdoing!"

"Fake and Fraudulent Polling should be, virtually, a criminal offense. As an example, all of the Anti Trump Media that covered me during the 2020 Election showed Polls that were knowingly wrong. They knew what they were doing, trying to influence the Election, but I won in a Landslide, including winning the Popular Vote, all 7 of the 7 Swing States, the Electoral College was a route, and 2,750 Counties to 525.

"You can’t do much better than that, and yet if people examined The Failing New York Times, ABC Fake News, NBC Fake News, CBS Fake News, Low Ratings CNN, or the now defunct MSDNC, Polls were all fraudulent, and bore nothing even close to the final results," he added. "Something has to be done about Fraudulent Polling. Even the Polls of FoxNews and The Wall Street Journal have been, over the years, terrible! There are great Pollsters that called the Election right, but the Media does not want to use them in any way, shape, or form. Isn’t it sad what has happened to American Journalism, but I am going to do everything possible to keep this Polling SCAM from moving forward!"
"With which evidence did Trump say the polls were willingly made with fraudulent data and intentionally made to get incorrect results?"

The evidence is he says so.

"How did this cause $15 billion of damage?"

It didn't. He won and has been profitting off the WH ever since. Did you hear about the $1 billion for the Board of Peace? He did that in broad daylight.

As I cited above, the first lawsuit was handwaved out of court. Trump refiled with this new complaint based on, again, nothing. This is purely intimidation. I hope the NYTimes brings up the First Amendment and countersues Trump directly, claiming this damages their good name, cites the slowdown in sales Trump claims they have as proof of damages, and wins.

Man, has the senile retard been on a tear today. Threatening WW3 over a missing Nobel Prize remains top of the list, but going after JP Morgan, the NYTimes, and Siena Polling for $20 billion in 24 hours is just something else.

EU leaders demand respect from Trump after Greenland crisis rattles relationship
The battered state of EU-US relations took centre stage at an extraordinary summit of leaders in Brussels, who demanded respect from Donald Trump.
The leaders of the European Union have demanded respect from Donald Trump after the United States president brought the transatlantic alliance to the precipice of collapse with his threat to seize Greenland through the use of punitive tariffs.

Trump suddenly backtracked on Wednesday, opting instead for a long-term deal on Arctic security brokered by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

"We believe that relationships between partners and allies should be managed in a cordial and respectful way," António Costa, the president of the European Council, said on Thursday evening at the end of an extraordinary summit in Brussels.

"The European Union will continue to stand up for its interests and will defend itself, its member states, its citizens and its companies, against any form of coercion. It has the power and the tools to do so and will do so if and when necessary."
    I like this part.
The sky-high tensions dominated the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, where von der Leyen and Macron openly vowed to retaliate.

European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde reportedly left a high-profile private dinner in Davos after US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick harshly criticised Europe's economic performance. Lutnick's remarks were met with heckles in the room.
    Asshole.
My whole political stance pretty much boils down to "I care about other people and the planet" and wow does that make some people mad.

I'm not surprised the Trump admin started doing this. Their online fluffers like Asmongold have been using AI to edit people's faces for their YT video thumbnails since forever.

I mean those bases are primarily dependant on the local infrastructure, in case of war they'd suddenly be cut off from supplies. Smart money would say local leadership would immediatly negotiate a local "we don't bother you, you don't bother us" deal for the duration of hostilities. Essentially taking those bases out of the game. It saves lives and prevents a lot of head aches on both sides.

Oh, so Biden was a disguised Trump, that means he is angry about himself and what he did to the US?

    Sure, sure, makes sense.

Its his other hand this time, not the usual one.

With how much aspirin he supposedly knocks back, and how old he is, I can actually believe it, honestly. Whether it actually is what happened, that's another matter.

You guys laugh ( because it's ridiculous) but you rule out a Medvedev Swap (TM) and you could end up like 2016...wondering how the fuck happened.

I have a crystal clear perception that grandpa is not gonna leave power willingly...it's either death or force.

Medvedev swap? You mean where a stooge takes up the mantle of president and trump takes up Speaker or VP? As far as I know the latter is impossible as he already served twice and you can't be VP if you are inelligble for the presidency, and Speaker depends on having the majority in the House so a Medvedev Swap is far LESS likely in the US than it is in rUSSR.

Yeah, no, he's already shown bruises on his left hand, too. This is the WH who claimed Trump bruised the center of the back of his hand, because he was shaking hands with people. Even without "Trump lies all the time about everything" this is a pretty clear lie.

This would require Trump to actively willingly publicly agree to be someone else's VP, after three more years of regression due to being senile. Trump is a sociopathic narcissist. He will never agree to being second place, even for show. He's rather try to seize power by military force.

Ha, I totally forgot that happened, you're right. So much shit getting thrown out I can't even keep up (which is the intended goal, ofc) with less than a month ago.

To be fair...yes. But at least more and more people are casually dismissing more and more lies. Senators and Representatives are less and less likely to say "This blatantly false thing Trump said is actually true." They're increasingly retreating behind "No, I didn't see the most important speech of the century so I can't be forced to defend it."

If I'm honest, I actually don't see Trump lasting another 3 years, anyway. If he actually does, I hope that resistance and pushback grows for the entirety of it, until he and his party are reduced to nothing. The real fear is what comes after.
