Trump will win 2020, do I like it not really. But will I really dont think the right democrat will run against him, sanders getting to old and the rest is pretty much just jokes.

Sure sounds like the administration is doing everything they can to prevent improvements to US voting technology/security for the next election. High turnover, inaction, a lack of leadership...sure sounds familiar.
https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/...mpression=trueMcConnell: 'Time to move on' from Trump impeachment talk
McConnell is such a PoS.
He again uses the bs talking point of 'no collusion' and not about all the obstruction, plus their incompetent attempts of working with Russia. Also cause he knows he speaks to a base in their bubble when he states 'no charges'. When again Mueller stated it was not his job.Well, look, I think it's time to move on. This investigation was about collusion, there's no collusion, no charges brought against the president on anything else, and I think the American people have had quite enough of it," McConnell told reporters in Kentucky, according to NBC News.
But of course this does not make Mitch McConnell the McConnell we all know with being the biggest hypocrite of them all.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/opini...c0a_story.htmlIn February 1998, the then-junior senator from Kentucky, Republican Mitch McConnell, said this on the Senate floor:
“Our nation is indeed at a crossroads. Will we pursue the search for truth or will we dodge, weave and evade the truth? I am of course referring to the investigation into serious allegations of illegal conduct by the president of the United States — that the president has engaged in a persistent pattern and practice of obstruction of justice. The allegations are grave, the investigation is legitimate and ascertaining the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the unqualified, unevasive truth is absolutely critical.”
Yes the article/source is an opinion piece which I don't care about the author. I used this source for the direct quote from 1998 about impeachment.

"Buh dah DEMS"
I think McConnell and Graham are having a competition to see which can be the grossest hypocrite between the two of them.
The problem with having a long career in public office is that if you're not consistent and honest, your comments come back to bite you pretty often. Hard.
Then again, it's not like their hypocrisy and partisan dishonest is a negative for either. Their bases seem to love it.

"Perhaps the greatest economy in history"
Show us your Q1 2019 GDP numbers.
Related: is he talking about how the US was always the #1 economy and he just didn't break it? Or, is he talking about how he made it even better, despite the tax cut for the rich backfiring and unilateral trade wars with no end in sight? Because either way, citation needed.
EDIT: Hey, who wants to bet Trump personally criticized Obama in the post-recovery economy of 2012-2016? Who wants to bet Trump is being a hypocrite about that, too? Anyone? @lockedout I'm looking in your direction.
He....he....*sigh* he actually said Congress should get involved in Twitter because he doesn't have enough followers.....
*long deep breath*.....Jesus Christ.....
This is just like when he said SNL should be investigated for making fun of him. Just when you think he hit the bottom of the stupidity barrel he sucks the flavor directly through the wood.

He has the memory of a goldfish.
Nah, it's just plain old dishonesty. Besides, Harley in particular made a big stink about leaving because of the tariffs.

Trump orders WH staffer to ignore a subpoena to testify before Congress.
"Wrong thread."
No, this is Carl Kline, now in the DoD but at the time was part of handing out Trump security clearances like bankruptcies to Trump casinos. The HOC demanded he testify after it was made public how these clearances were basically "because Trump said so" on people who failed background checks and, for example, did business deals on the side or beat their wives. Plural. Fuck that guy.
"That name sounds familiar. Didn't his lawyer say he'll testify this month?"
Yes, and Trump is telling him not to do that. Yes, refusing to appear before a legit Congressional subpoena will get you in jail. It sounds like Trump is willing to let this guy go to jail, despite his apparent willingness to testify, rather than let him speak under oath.
"Trump could just pardon him."
That sounds like obstruction of justice to me. Plus we've had that discussion before: once he's pardoned, he can't invoke the 5th anymore.
"No no, Trump could pardon the crime of failing to testify to a legit subpoena."
And then the HJC issues another one. At some point, Trump will prove he wanted his friends and family to have security clearances they didn't earn, by refusing to let the person who issued them tell the truth about the matter.
"Couldn't Kline just testify anyhow?"
Yes, but he still works for Trump. If he does, Trump will likely fire him.

UPDATE: Cain, taking a break from delivering pizzas to push a narrative (true or not) that he didn't take the job because
a) he would make less money, and
b) he would not be allowed to appear on FOX News.
Now, if that's true, then it says a lot about "only the best people" Trump wants. We just had someone ditch the post, the opportunity to do what he feels is right for the country, because it doesn't pay him personally.
Or, it's false, and he and/or Trump came up with this story -- thinking it was redeeming -- rather than tell the truth. That truth, by the way, is likely "I am not qualified."
I mean, Cain set the floor of how bad this is with "it doesn't pay me enough". The real story is either that, or worse. That's like, when the cops come to your door asking for an alibi, you said you were at the SPCA kicking puppies.

Not much goin on, just Jared Kushner dishonestly and dramatically downplaying the scope of the Russian influence on the election while claiming that it's actually the investigation that's the most damaging thing out of all of this."You look at what Russia did, you know, buying some Facebook ads to try and sow dissent and do it, it's a terrible thing," Kushner said in an interview at Time 100 Summit in response to a question about the Mueller investigation.
"But I think the investigations and all of the speculation that's happened for the last two years has had a much harsher impact on our democracy than a couple Facebook ads," he continued.

Not that it will amount to anything, but #RepublicansForImpeachment is trending on Twitter and that's pretty damned funny. I'm sure most of the ones using it are Dems pleading for sanity among the Republicans, but still. Seeing quotes from Lindsay Graham mixed in there which is likely to bite him in the ass one way or the other, so that's pretty great too.
