I am going to blatantly assume, without evidence or research, that Trump has now played golf more times than Obama during Obama's entire first term.

Without doing any searching at all, I am just going to assume it's true and move on.

Of course I'm lying. What kind of person posts feelings instead of evidence? That's deplorable!

Trump is up to 170 golf days.

Obama played about 41 rounds per year, 333 total. Trump is past half that.

Mick Mulvaney "doesn't recall" telling staff not to mention election security to Trump.

Seriously, at this point I think GOP officials writ-large need to see neurologists to see if there's something wrong there. We see time and time again that they're unable to recall key information and details when asked about it -

@Edge. More corruption. I'm sure this has been discussed but again shows how blatant it is.

TRUMP PROPERTIES HAVE EARNED NEARLY $5 MILLION FROM REPUBLICAN GROUPS, CAMPAIGNS SINCE PRESIDENT'S ELECTION
    https://www.newsweek.com/trump-prope...groups-1402253

According to public disclosures highlighted by Quartz and Center for Responsive Politics, pro-Trump super PACs, the Republican National Committee and the presidenet’s own reelection committee have spent at least $4.7 million on Trump owned hotels, golf courses and restaurants since January 2017, when the president was inaugurated. About $100,000 of that has been spent in 2019.
Idk what and how you would compare this to another person who owns property and say hosts political events, but this number seems astonishing.

But cmon, the Republican party has to host, spend the money somewhere.

Prior to 2015, political spending at Trump properties had not surpassed $80,000 within a two-year election cycle. The highest previous level was just $77,922 between 2011 and 2012. Although precedent has seen modern-day presidents place their personal businesses into blind trusts while serving in the White House, Trump chose not to do so. Instead, he left his sons, Eric Trump and Donald Trump, Jr., to manage his businesses, with the president pledging to not involve himself in the operations.
    .

That's right. Prior to Trump running for President, his business couldn't even crack six figures. Oh btw as mentioned Trump never did a blind trust.

So the writing is plain as day. As single minded as Trump is about making money and having his sons tell him who spends what at his properties this corrupt, ego minded person is going to favor who spends money at his businesses.

I did like the parts about Trump's campaign taking donations and spending it at Trump properties.

Probably the most direct way of profiting out of being in office: take political donations, and just keep them.

The HJC subpoena'd the DoJ about the census citizenship question. Most likely, the questions to be asked include "Did Trump ask for this?" and "Why are you adding it?"

    The subpoena was ignored.

The WH strategy is now clear: ignore all attempts at accountability. It's so much easier to handle checks and balances by just ignoring them.

"But surely this is just a partisan WITCH HUNT!"

The census question represents a big change. Trump's WH is refusing to explain what they expect it to accomplish, why they want the info, what they'll do with the info, and the big one, will they arrest people based on their responses. Bear in mind, this is Trump's GOP who thinks registering guns is a bad idea, because the government will come and take your guns if you do that. Yet, they're defending this, without explaining why, and refusing a subpoena to explain.

Most transparent administration ever, ladies and gentlemen.

It's not being ignored, it's being rejected for a very specific reason: the Committee won't allow the person testifying (John Gore) to have an attorney present with him. I don't know if it's against the rules to have one, or if the committee won't allow it in this specific case, or what, but the subpoena isn't being ignored.

Needs a lawyer to answer some questions about precedent and motive? Wow. It sounds like he thinks he's being accused of a crime. Why would he think that?

Or is this the Trump "perjury trap" defense? Because I can think of a better way to deal with that: not lying.

I'll see your abuse of power and corruption and raise you with more abuse and corruption.

Barr gets waiver on case linked to inquiry into Trump's re-election effort

Attorney General William Barr has received a waiver to participate in the investigation of 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), a Malaysian development company that has come under investigation by the FBI and DOJ for alleged money laundering.
So a person in Barr, who clearly tried to spin the Mueller Report, clearly working for Trump and not the DoJ will oversee an investigation on his re-election campaign. We all know that his campaign inauguration is in trouble with ongoing investigations on the money and possible corruption. This case looks to be the one of many coming down the line with Barr possibly by this precedent will be able to oversee any of these incoming investigations.

It's a question that's gotten to the Supreme Court. It's actually a very important case. Given that, it's not unexpected that a person testifying about it would want to make sure their answers don't cause any problems. Whether it's right or wrong, I don't know, I don't know what the usual process is, but I can definitely understand wanting to be careful with this issue.

Trump hated the fact that the Mueller Report showed how easily manipulated he was when it came to stifling his orders, and how much his own people talked shit about him.
Hence, one reason why he's refusing to let others go before the House Intel Committee.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: For a man who declares he was completely exonerated and did nothing wrong, Trump is doing a great job acting like a man with something to hide.

Hadn't seen that one that yet, not very surprising that the dumbest president in US history is an anti-vaxxer though. The man is a living breathing collection of every worst stereotype about Americans.

The cross section of liberals and conservatives that are anivaxxers is actually pretty interesting. It’s like a gateway drug, for conspiracy theories.

Yeah, especially when you look at education levels. This isn't something that's just fooling "uneducated" folks with a highschool degree or lower, especially amongst liberals there's quite a few of them with undergrad/graduate degrees that believe this nonsense.

But Trump believing it is probably one of the least surprising things : P

I have two nurses and a hospital administrator in my family that are antivaxxers. I’m pretty sure my whole medical side of the family is antivaxxers and they all have some form of degree in the medical field.

Is the typical argument that some people might have certain reactions to the vaccine? Ya know sort of like the side effects that oh...I don't know....every single medication on the market may have on a very small portion of the population?
