Oh yeah. Perfect video if you have not seen where Trump is holding a bible (friking fake as hell) and he looks at it to see if he has it upside down or not.

I mean this pisses me off more that he is using religious fanaticism to increase power.
Democrats are the best! I will never ever question a Democrat again. I LOVE the Democrats!

According to all the wannabe patriots. It's to stop a tyrannical government. You'd think they'd be excited to march on DC and take out Trump. But of course we know they only mean blue politicians can be tyrannical.

I'm curious, now catching up on the news, as to which states he's deploying troops to. Because stuff like this, moving troops into "crisis areas", is how one upsets a power base.

It's Occam's Razor time. Which is more likely:

    1) The Secret Service, with years or decades of experience per agent on the scene, thought several dozen unarmed protestors would breach the fence, minefield, and walls of America's castle and threaten the lives of those inside.

    2) Trump was afraid of black people.

I tell you what: I posted video of those protests within earshot of Trump being dispersed by flash bangs and tear gas. You could hear them while he was talking. If the SS was concerned Friday night, then they should treat the threat with equal concern and move Trump to the bunker tonight, too. I mean, Trump called out the military, the threat must be just as high, right? Therefore, if it does not happen tonight, it must have been a nonstandard situation -- such as Donald "DO SOMETHING" Trump specifically asking.

    We'll compare notes tomorrow.

Oh, and while checking for quotes, I found this one:

No, well. We have to play the game the way they’re playing the game. You’re not going to win if we’re soft and they have no rules. Now, I want to stay within the laws. I want to do all of that, but I think we have to increase the laws because the laws are not working.
I want you to read Trump's quote, he was defending waterboarding by the way, from the point of view of an African-American watching the video of an unarmed African American being murdered by suffocation by multiple police officers. How do you think they feel about the laws working? How do you think they feel about the rules?

"But Trump's not in charge of the police."

Not currently the point. Trump is being a hypocrite, but endorsing acts of torture, while calling in the military to deal with people armed with rocks reacting to that level of legal disparity. Trump could have shown empathy. Instead, he yelled at governors for not stomping out protests harshly enough.

The president just gassed peaceful protestors so he could walk over to a church and hold up a Bible. He didn’t even open it.

    Fuck all trump supporters.

Apparently George W. Bush endorsed Biden, anyone able to confirm?

Oh I know. He is a fucking coward. So are his supporters. They have no ground to stand on. Truly an embarrassment.

So your version of events doesn't agree with what people who were actually there said, including sworn federal officers.
The Secret Service said no one crossed the White House fence and no one being protected was ever in danger.

    Wow, this didn't age well:

Hasn't happened, just speculation about its significance.

Which I don't think is significant at all, since the Republican party doesn't much seem to care about the opinion of Bush any longer.

While it should be painfully obvious that any sane person should be endorsing Biden over Trump, I don't think W. Bush's endorsement will do much to shore up the support of the Bernie Bros that are still bitter that the democratic party voters picked a registered democrat instead of Bernie as their candidate.

Pfft. You sound just like Sen. Kamala Harris.

Donald Trump just tear-gassed peaceful protesters for a photo op.
Congratulations to Donald Trump: first action in charge, lie about his crowd size. Latest action in charge, use flash bangs and rubber bullets to remove his crowd size. The only thing lower than his ethics are his polling numbers.
