I saw the debates the other night and he was making a mockery of American democracy and its rules. He has been doing it from day one. This is just just poetic justice given how much he butchered the response to COVID and I hope its his final nail in the coffin

I don't want Trump to die from this. I want Trump to answer for his crimes. Him dying of this only serves to make him a martyr in the eyes of the right. Anything but an electoral defeat in November will only serve to engender his base when they need to be politically crushed and cast aside.

Trump dying doesn't bring any sense of justice or recompense to the 200,000 people who lost their lives quite needlessly. But him being exposed for the abject shill he is in a court of law and/or being rejected by the American people? I figure there's far more justice in that.

Trump gets to skip the next debate, so that's probably in his favor. But he also loses any opportunities to go out and campaign for the next 2 weeks or more depending on how severe his case is. Which can be very bad since several of those swing states are already in Biden's favor and Trump needs to pick them up.

Am I alone in thinking this is all a ploy? I don't doubt he may actually have it, but for some reason I'm more inclined to think this is a stunt. Maybe it's the 20,000+ lies or whatever the number is at now. He'll "be slightly sick" for a few days, magically be better and claim it was because he took hydroxychloroquine. It's a miracle cure and he was pushing for it the entire time and all of those 200,000 dead would've been saved if people just listened to him! So now none of the dead will be on his conscience (not that he has one). It has the added benefit of sympathy, getting out of the next debate, and showing everyone how tough he is that he can beat something so deadly so quickly.
