Was Abraham Lincoln a bad guy? Like I don't mean to derail this off the topic of Trump but he's a Republican too.

There was a little thing that happened since Lincoln's presidency. It is called the Southern Strategy, where the parties effectively switched. The KKK was created by Southern Democrats at the time, and now they support the Republicans.

Have you ever heard of the Southern Strategy and the subsequent realigning of the Democratic and Republican parties?

If you have to go back a century or two to justify that your party aren't bunch of horrible monsters then maybe you already lost that argument.

so, Trump and everyone in his party is a racist? That's what this is insinuating.

Trump ABSOLUTELY is racist, but everyone? Maybe. If they are still with him after all of the racism he has perpetuated over the last 5 years since he came down that fucking escalator, then yes, they are racist.

normally blanket statements of "all X are Y" is the kind of ridiculous argument commonly used to try to convince people of a viewpoint that's not got any real reasoning behind it. but in the case of trump and his cult there's the fact that he has been proven to be a racist on multiple occasions, has repeatedly refused to condemn racism and racist acts and his cult continue to follow him blindly despite this. so it does in fact look very much like they all are racist or at least condone racism

Are Trump supporters racist? not necessarily no. But considering his open and blatant racism they are all atleast racist enablers.
Don't want to be called a racist enabler? Don't support someone who is openly racist.
    Its not rocket science.

The Republicans of then aren't comparable to the Republicans of today.

Well he did normalize men wearing way too much make up, so I guess there's that?

It's not that THEY ARE ALL RACIST. It's that him being a racist, bigoted, conman isn't a deal breaker to them.

Getting back on Trump's miracle cure, the reason why he is doing this ofc is because his advisers told him that a vaccine pre election isn't possible.

Yep, and his dumbass son tried to push it as a vaccine and cure, on Fox News, and they promptly asked him about it being a vaccine then corrected him to "therapeutic".

It's also because he has a vested interest in Regeneron and Eli Lilly. He used to own stock personally but now likely transferred them to his family.

In 2016, if a person voted for Trump, they told the world that either they are racist or that being racist isn’t a disqualifyer for being president but wanted to see what he could do.

After 4 years and numerous lies and scandals and failed policy and broken laws, if a person votes for Trump in 2020, then the only reason they have left is that they are racist.
