I'm much more worried about Trump, Israel and Saudi Arabia planning an attack on Iran in Trump's final days. there have been worrying reports about Trump asking his advisors about such strike last week. and the recent comments from Saudi Arabia and Israel shows that they are going to do their best to torpedo whatever regional plan Biden is going to execute. Iran and the US already were about to go to war earlier this year, and it wont' be a pretty war for either side. and the more i think about it the more i realize that this is exactly the sort of "fk you" move someone like Trump might want to pull off in the last days of his office, and then leave it to someone else to pick up the pieces.

The CT map is terrifying right now. We have two towns in the "safe" zone (luckily I live in one and never go anywhere due to COVID), maybe a dozen in the "orange" zone, and the entire rest of the state is red.

Remember the rule about "but", you can often just ignore everything that comes before the word "but".

Yep, Trumpians especially try hard to sound unbiased, and as soon as that "but" takes place you see conspiracy talks and allegation with close to zero evidence. And then they will try to conclude with "I don't even like Trump but X and Y are worse"

I'm genuinely sorry that some people are misguided at a young age due to lack of availability for education, but if you're going to keep voting against your own interest while others go out of your way to help you, at some point "others" will just give up and try to make the situation better elsewhere where people actually don't self destruct.

Same exit poll as above, Trump won among people that work full-time for pay, Biden won handily among people that don't.
Biden won 55 to 43 among educated voters. That's the better metric in my opinion.

So Trump scheduled a surprise briefing a few minutes go.

He showed up, took credit for the DOW breaking 30K....and then left without taking questions. whole thing lasted less than 3 minutes.

As anything positive in his presidency, and as any piece of feces, he takes credit for nothing he had his hand in. I read where Ivanka did the same thing not knowing the stock market loves the stability of Joe Biden. I only give Ivanka credit that it somehow lined her pockets or hubby in the stock market, but not the average American.

Oh what's that? So far Biden's nominees are not socialists? Wall Street, which idk if it flourishes, is showing that it will be business as usual with no crazy socialist doctrine.
Democrats are the best! I will never ever question a Democrat again. I LOVE the Democrats!

Every single last one of them is a socialist. The definition of socialist is now, "anyone who disagree's with whatever trump wants." just like fake news is "everyone who disagree's with trump." He'd probably call fkn John Bolton a socialist and his followers would go along with it.

For real though, professional, qualified, and while boring, I'm fine with that. The "Reality TV SHITSHOW" is cancelled and we only have a handful of episodes of the crazy to go. Thank the Lord!

White families? Because that's kind of a big deal for republicans in general.

How is he supposed to answer, if they ask what he did to hit 30k? Lost his challanges in PA and MI, certifying Biden?

It certainly wasn't the 3 mile long food bank lines.
"Law and Order", lots of places have had that, Russia, North Korea, Saddam's Iraq.
Laws can be made to enforce order of cruelty and brutality.

DOW is 30k. that's a number. If only he had been advocating and pushing hard for masks since the beginning, we'd have another number about that would be about 30k. I'd rather it be that one instead of the DOW.

    Fuck the TRUMP VIRUS

    <sigh>

Over 1200 deaths and it's not even noon yet on the west coast. I don't know why I keep checking the numbers during the day.

Yeah, I've been keeping track of these trends personally for too long to ease that far back, unfortunately; I don't have the willpower to resist watching the train collision.
