They don't care about killing their own voters or anyone else since a) they're sociopaths b) they and everyone close to them is vaccinated and has the best health care taxpayer money and frozen fish fiefdoms can buy c) they will likely successfully gerrymander / install lackeys at various steps of the election infrastructure d) if they can prolong the pandemic enough and wholesale shift blame to Biden for the case numbers and deaths, they can probably pick up enough dissatisfied "independents" to make up any difference.

What is a shame here is that lost in the wharblegarble is a decent point. The path to good health is indeed more than just vaccination -- the american public would benefit a ton from losing weight, exercising more, and having a good diet.

What's unfortunately is this is CLEARLY just an attempt to cater to the "I'm healthy so I don't need a vaccine" crowd which is false false false. Because EVEN if that were true the vaccine isn't just about you stupid. You are also protecting others. Something conservatives seem to be absolutely unable to grasp...the idea that you should do something beneficial for others even if you don't directly benefit. Completely foreign to them.

To put it another way: let's assume Obama/Biden saw the results in 2016 and did the same thing?

"Well there weren't 26 blue states--"

Not the point. What if Biden had said "Florida and Texas are too close to call, plus Some Guy On Twitter said he saw a white guy in a hoodie moving boxes, I'm throwing them out, my close personal friend Clinton wins"? Republicans would have been livid, and rightly so. That's not America. That's not even Mexico.

If this memo exists, it must be found and made public. In the meantime, I wouldn't mind seeing Graham, Lee, and Pence under oath testifying to exactly this situation. They'll refuse, and we'll immediately know what that refusal means.
I'm sure when Kamala pulls this definitely Constitutionally-sound stunt, they'll all rally around her in full-throated defense. No, of course she won't, and no, of course they wouldn't. And yes we knew this was their plan, but seeing it in cold, calculating black and white like this is another matter entirely. As to Pence, it was Dan Quayle who saved democracy. Dan. Quayle. And to be perfectly frank, I can't tell if that's the final proof that I invented this entire timeline, or final proof that I didn't.

I mean, maybe it was there before but we didn't see it because it wasn't a suicide pact? Regardless, it would be interesting to see this in other areas. "A cast and crutches? Nah, give me some vitamin C and I'll be okay."

Also, the option everyone's choosing to take is "get sick, nearly die, then take random shit from a veterenarian, Joe Rogan, or ECMO sci-fy cyborg machine". If vaccines were going to microchip you, you'd have MMReceived it by now.

I mean, it does punish people who have been vaccinated as well, but more reason for them to tell their neighbors to quit being fucking idiots and get vaccinated? I’m just unsure how to incentivize people to get vaccinated at this point who don’t want to… maybe when it starts financially hurting their state and their pockets?

    No.

If you can't cut funding for sanctuary cities, you can't cut funding for a suicide cult.

Fair. It’s hard to figure out how to convince people to get vaccinated who are willfully ignorant and oppose getting vaccinated.

Well you could certainly give states BONUS funding, based off on what percentage of their people are vaccinated.

McTurtle would go door-do-door jabbing Kentuckians for that, I'm sure.

Anything for a free government buck, but down with socialism, amirite?

    https://www.newsweek.com/ron-desanti...-video-1631372

Because apparently the new Surgeon General was in that stupid "America's Frontline Doctors" video alongside her last year. Remember, the one that said that hydroxy cured you and said masks don't work and that covid is less deadly than the flu.

Republicans just like killing people, I guess.

I'm seeing them call this "freethinker" now.
One of the moms who just died had it all over her social media.
They "think for themselves" and as one of them put it are "unvaxxed, unmuzzled and proud!"
Those girls calling themselves pureblood who believe their blood will be liquid gold in the future?
They figured that out all by themselves by connecting internet dots.
Proudly wearing the badge of ignorance and confusing it with thought.

I think it was David Mitchell who made the joke about people like that being unburdened with a higher education.
People really do think that their own "common sense" outweighs actual facts/science/education.

Folksy, down home, common-sense country wisdom. Brought to you in part thanks to Sarah "I read all the newspapers, you know, all of them, just all of them." Palin.

Um...yes. I posted recently she caught COVID and was giving interviews about how natural antibodies were stronger. Granted, there was a recent study suggesting she's right. But you get the natural antibodies by, yep, catching COVID and not dying.

Which going on 700,000 people can't do anymore.

I mean, that's kind of a gross mischaracterization of the results of the study. Not that I'm blaming you, because that's the attempted takeaway that an awful lot of people are having over it (mostly because that's what they want to believe), which is coloring how it's described in the media.

    Regardless...

I didn't bother to read the study. I just assumed, like most fact-deniers, that it was cherry-picked to fit the narrative.

Is it a surprise? Those suckers are dangerous. One second you're eating one, trying to get the seed ready to spit as far as you can in the "cherry seed spitting contest", the next thing you know that sucker is lodged in your throat and you're flailing about on the ground gasping for air and desperately hoping there's someone around to give you the Heimlich.

Wait, wait. I've got it. The new Biden Administration Vaccination Slogan: "Get your shots so you can survive long enough to try voting me out." Implied, but not stated: "you idiot cowards."

Brilliant. Or just super spiteful, I don't know.
