Did you read the piece? They are complaining that the market could have grown faster than it did. They take periods of growth as "normal", but count periods with plateaus as "missed growth". And attribute everything negative to China, of course.

It is a little pathetic that bait pieces like this one are linked and cheered without anyone reading them.

This really is the heart of it.

Even Dacien admitted that the main reason he tolerated Trump was because of the eminent necessity of filling Scalia's seat with a Republican pick - regardless of who that Republican was. (Which makes it all the more amusing to watch the people who held their nose and voted R choke on this poison pill).

And what makes that necessity so eminent? Because now that the consequences of the Reagan Revolution have finally hit home and, shockingly enough, it turns out most people hate it. The only way these people can ensure their values don't go extinct as the country shifts culturally and demographically is by restricting the franchise and consolidating power in as few and as white hands as possible.

I want you all to really think about this: at the end of the day, these people were willing to plunge the country into economic and political catastrophe simply to avoid having to live next to a Mexican or pee next to a man with a vag.

Yeah I don't understand the play on this. I got talking to someone and they pointed out that Illegal crossing spike in the spring (for planting season) and fall (for harvesting season) and crossing dramatically go down in the summer because the work illegals can find is minimal during this time and the fact the crossing is more dangerous because its a fricken desert with extreme temperature variations. So to him the idea is he imposes this tariff, he gets 2-3 months of decreasing border crossing (which is going to happen naturally) and then he can declare victory to his base and remove the tariff.

Though it does sound like a good idea, for an amateur politician. All this tariff does is dramatically increase the chance that he can't get his NAFTA 1.2 passed because Mexico will not ratifying it, taking away his major diplomatic "victory"
