Target character in raidframe macro ?

Is there a macro to target a character in a raidframe and cast an ability afterwards ?
Not using the character's name or a mouseover simply pressing your keybinded macro and having it target a player in first column first row or a player second column second row in any raidframes (pref blizzard ones).
    Thanks.

Assuming the Blizzard raid frames are sorted by RaidID, then /tar RaidX (x=1-40) should work for targeting.
Then it is just a case of /use ability.
Or if you didnt want to change your current target, you could even use /use [@RaidX] ability.

I dont know if changes to the raid roster give people new id's or not, so uncertain what happens when someone leaves.

Thanks a lot will try that out. Is there a way to make it ignore a player that is out of range and have it to scroll to the next one ?

You can put in another line with the next person, but that's about it. Something like
    /use [@RaidX] ability
    /use [@RaidX+1] ability

quite weird it doesnt scroll to the next raid member. Maybe i should try different raidframes. Any suggestions ? (basically any raidframes that /use [@Raid1] ... /use [@Raid2] ... would work ?) or is it irrelevant with the raidframes used ?

They don't want automation, such that an ability will "bounce" until it hits someone valid.
You should judge the conditions yourself, someone in range, or not.
