You didn't vote for a no-deal but you also didn't vote for any dealt. You voted to leave the EU and for the Government (in this case the Conservative party) to figure out the details.

You don't get it Dribs... if this "agreement" sticks, I'll be dangling the clock over your head for as long as you're a voluntary vassal state. And if it doesn't and you crash out, I will sympathize with the people in the UK that did not want this, but at the same time, I will be eating popcorn and hope you suffer the full effect of the consequences of your actions. You personally, not the people of the UK in general.

Either way, I will enjoy whatever happens. It's like a football game in group stages where I only need a point to proceed to the knockout stages. I'll be happy with the draw, but I'll be cheering for the 3 points, too.

From earlier in this thread it seems Floopa thought that voting for what Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage and Jacob Reese Mogg wanted would somehow lead to a Corbyn-lead socialist utopia, and if not she could give the UK the finger and piss off to France. At least with Dribbs we know they're happy to fuck over the UK for personal gain, with Floops it seems to be a massive misjudgement paired with general apathy.

i want a left wing government, so i voted leave in the hopes leave would win and it would force a GE - it did do that, but conservatives won narrowly, so i'm now hoping there is another one that LAB should win narrowly.

i never bought into the "wonders" of vote leave, i just hate the conservative party and whatever causes them the most damage i'll vote for. where i live specifically, Liberal Democrats have a better shot at beating Conservatives than Labour do, so despite being a Labour member i vote Lib Dems because fptp is fucking garbage and forces me to make that decision.

as for no deal, i mean i think it should be what the UK works towards. if a no deal turns the UK into a tax haven ala singapore, and strips away employee rights and human rights and privatises the NHS (to it's ultimate destruction) that is something i think the people of the UK would reject through a general election.

after all, we were repeatedly told the eu would be begging us for a deal and we would hold the strongest hand ; )

the only good thing about this deal is it stops us having a trade deal with the US directly. that is a win for every single person living in the UK.
