None of the amendments will achieve a majority and we will be no further forward...

Apparently, it's closer than was assumed earlier today.

    Boles resigns Con whip!

Nick Boles just quit the Tory party in the middle of the session. Made a statement about parliament being in this situation because the Tories refuse to compromise, drops the mic and walks to the opposition bench.

Boles didn't just cross the floor, he straight up walked out of Parliament.

Some of those propositions almost got a majority, three were far closer than May's deal.

Hopefully he joins TIG - though considering they voted against his motion, (when he watered it down to try and get Conservative support that was never going to come) probably not.

    Boles, perhaps.

That just reflects poorly on the government; if May backed the CU or Common Market they might stand a chance in hell of passing Parliament.

But hey she gets to pretend she has a chance in hell of being PM after this by doing whatever the fuck she's doing currently.

Eh? What she's doing would lead to her stepping down and not being PM.

Looking at the lack of support and high number of abstentions against each other's motions is utterly mental. It's like they want this to never end and just keep going back for extension after extension.

    - - - Updated - - -

Also the DUP abstained on everything last time, this time they straight up voted "no to all".

Depends on whether or not the EU decides to grant an extension and under what conditions.

But at this point unless Parliament pulls some manner of consensus out of their ass before Friday, it might be between EUMP elections or No Deal.

If I were France I'd be looking to force a GE or Referendum.
