Las Vegas police were investigating reports of an active shooter near or inside Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Sunday night, the city's police department said on Twitter.

Happening right now at/near the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival at Luxor/Mandalay Bay....

According to LVMPD scanners one suspect is down at the Mandalay bay. Reports of gunshots at multiple other hotels but none have been confirmed.

LVMPD scanner said there was evidence of multiple people having been in the room before they got there and took down one suspect. Police just said an armed man was just entering the Bellagio employee entrance.
