While I remain convinced that her allegations only took hold because of his extensive history and current tensions, and lacked any measure of voracity on their own... it's sadly amusing how many people see going with someone to a city and sharing a hotel room as a clear sexual advance justifying walking naked into a shower after them. Just off the top of my head, I have done this with three chess events, two professional conventions, a wedding for a mutual friend because it was a small hotel nearby and rooms were sparse (alcohol was plentifully involved with that one), a NMUN conference, and a return trip that we pulled over into a hotel for due to weather conditions. Get off the PC and get out into the world and involved with various things, and you'll see how mundane something like this really is.

True I've had female friends who I've gone on trips with and shared beds with get naked when going to bed beside me so not everyone is fond of wearing pjs while going to sleep.

Never taken a shower with them before though, that would feel weird.

Not even. If the only goal is cleanliness than it's much quicker for two to shower alone than to try and share a shower. Also much less standing around cold and naked while the other person hogs all the water.
