Thought this might be coming, but the Mueller team is throwing some cold water on the Buzzfeed report.

Details: Peter Carr, spokesperson for Mueller's office, told BuzzFeed that their "description of specific statements to the Special Counsel’s Office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen’s Congressional testimony are not accurate."

Given the specificity of their language, it doesn't seem the entirely discredit the whole story, but it does seem that not all the details of it are accurate. Which isn't entirely surprising and why I haven't jumped on board the train that it's all true yet.

Guess we'll see when the investigation is finished how much, if any, of the Buzzfeed report ends up being on-point.
