What are you talking about? I would expect you to see the obvious difference of ravenhodlt showing outlaw at 2,044,366 dps while simc showed them at 2,250,000 dps before the buff. Now with the 4% buff ravenholdt will in time show them a little higher but still far from the updated 2,342,010 dps from simcraft.

I'm sure you can understand that I replied to the statement that outlaw was simming highest, which it is not according to the ravenholdt sims.

Then I didnt understand your statement, I apologize. I just wanted to point out that even though Outlaw isnt simming highest according to ravenholdt its far from not viable. Now looking at other classes and our dmg we do have a serious issue.... people are just pulling ahead left right and center....

Again sorry, english isnt my first language. I did not mean to insult you .

    Thanks for the indepth analysis.
Since the post I've been checking once again how to do the opening sequence.
I've made a macro for using Vial(trinket) and Shadowstrike on 1 button.
I've also configured my TMW to show an activation border around my DfA, when I have finality up.
I still use my Goremaw whenever its up and I have 3=>cp, is that incorrect?

and one took x4 spriest and x4 locks, feels like there certainly is an issue with how strong the rdps are and how much weaker the rest are.

the damage of all the forecasts and speculations is already done, but single target dps wise rogue is still a strong dps in mythic progression.

It has nothing to do with raw DPS, but with how ranged interact better with the mechanics: if melee is trapped in the wrong spot during Storm of Darkness, he/she will be hindered useless until the effect wears off. Ranged also deal better with Torment of Aman'Thul and Torment of Khaz'Goroth, because the don't have to walk across the room to DPS, they can keep DPS'ing the Bosses while Torment of Norgannon is happening and they don't have to worry about Fury of Golganneth killing them. Also, Warlocks and S.Priests are simply better to cleave both Bosses at the same time than... everyone else.

Yet, some guilds are taking Rogues and Paladins, because of their immunities, which helps to alleviate the damage taken from Machinations of Aman'Thul. Also, Rogues can move better using Storm of Darkness by using Feint. You don't see guilds taking Warriors to Coven because, despite them being one of the strongest specs in the game, certainly the strongest melee class, they have very bad defensive tools to deal with Coven mechanics.

Both Sub, Sin and Outlaw are currently among the worst DPS specs in the game, and they re only managing to show up on warcraftlogs because the other classes have no gear yet.

As soon as everyone is 960 and above Rogues are going to vanish completely, every rogue WILL be benched since you dont need them to soak on farm anymore.

And this is going to remain this way for the rest of this expansion, so i suggest to reroll now if you want to get a tiny bit of fun out of 13+ months of antorus

Thanks for the heads up! Fortunately i will never be benched! Largely because, as a rogue, i survive better, have more dps up-time, and...compete with said top dps on all fights - if not in aoe+boss/priority targets, then atleast on boss/priority targets only.

Go preach doom and gloom elsewhere, it's annoying af. And you sound like bot-spam. You should vary your message slightly. But do it elsewhere.

Yea I've been playing my Outlaw Rogue a lot recently and Unless another dps out gears me by a ton I'm usually top 3 on all fights, except sometimes Eonar...screw that boss lol, so I don't see why so many people think rogues are going to be terrible and need to be benched.

literally what else do you want as proof?

Anecdotal stories on how you got #1 in YOUR guild last night?

Please take a class in statistics, take a second look at the data, and then come back to us.

Better yet, due to no one caring what you have to say (beyond largely disagreeing with you, and your presentation, and stating it) feel free to not post anymore. You are not contributing to a healthy discourse about the rogue class.

Literally, what do you HAVE as proof?
    A witty saying proves nothing.
