Two words: class fantasy

Class fantasy is not tied to drops, you can have via quest, or special drops a lot of transmogs of warglaives, get that shiny swords from a raid boss and transmog them onto glaives, and done, your dh has it's cool looks.

I think blizz will go this route, so probably we have a few - not a lot - of glaives designs but there will be almost none warglaive from bosses. That of blizz adapts warriors and rogues to use warglaives as one handers.

But I seriously doubt it. Just transmogs.

I remember an old video from Classic of a survival hunter using Tfury/Survival spec and doing literal melee hunter pvp, sadly it doesn't seem to be around on the youtubes anymore. Also very sad that Blizzard couldn't even tell that the legendary bow wasn't better than an epic, was it just the lack of added arrow DPS? I feel like they adjusted it at some point, but that may just be my foggy memory, and it was probably too late to matter much anyways.

i dont think arrow dps was the issue, i think it had more dps to offset this, but since it wasnt using arrows, it didnt benefit from quivers attack speed bonus?

Warglaives were dropping in the demo at Blizzcon in BfA. I think that pretty much confirms that there will be warglaives drops.

They should allow for blacksmith and inscriptionist to be able to craft them.
