[Music] Classic Techno, Dance, Synth Pop

My favorite band of all time and favorite song of all time. Love Depeche Mode.

One of those songs I can just put on workout or play my favorite game too.

Probably one of the very first MTV videos I ever saw, I was mesmerized as a kid.

New Order, had a few favorites I would come to love.

I take your Depeche Mode and raise you a New Order (Came here specifically to put Enjoy the Silence, but you beat me to it)

I love Warcraft, I dislike WoW

Unsubbed since January 2021, now a Warcraft fan from a distance

Real McCoy Alone with Ace of Base had some pretty good tracks especially for playing video games.

If you like Depeche Mode, definitely check out the latest Ulver cd, it's one of the best albums released this year. It's the closest you can get musically to Depeche Mode in this day and age.

A sidenote and little info about the band, Ulver started with black metal, making one of the most monumental albums in the genre, but also made electronic, ambient, folk, dark folk, experimental/art rock, classical, and now, synthpop albums, all highly respected within each genre.

Very interesting and extremely diverse band to say the least, everyone should check them out.

I really like this. I dig bands that can play with and compose different sounds in a modern way. Thank you for spotlight I’m going to check out their other material.

If you're meaning to check them out, let me help you. Here are their best albums excluding the one I posted already, in no particular order.

    Electronic/trip-hop/dark jazz

Ambient/electronic/chamber music, probably my own personal favorite of the lot

    Experimental rock/ambient

    Modern classical/ambient

    Dark folk

Avant-garde/post-industrial/electronic, definitely their most ambitious record

    Experimental rock/drone/post-rock

Atmospheric black metal, pretty much their best record and hailed as one of the best albums across all genres of all time.

Skimmed some listened to all listened to everything so far. Except for the last one down I liked a lot. Going to listen again the finish

    Electronic/trip-hop/dark jazz
    Peredition City
I like the dark mood, very unexpected

Ambient/electronic/chamber music, probably my own personal favorite of the lot
Shadow of the Sun eerie feels like a mixed soundtrack

    Experimental rock/ambient
    Blood inside. Still listening to

    Modern classical/ambient
This is something I would buy for my long Drive from Minnesota to Alaska nothing but open road for miles.

    Dark folk
Not what I would use for a long drive, Never really listen to folk but for sure more dark than the other albums

Avant-garde/post-industrial/electronic, definitely their most ambitious record
Shortest of this collection, probably the more dark so far.

    Experimental rock/drone/post-rock
Longer album I like a lot more than the last, great cruising music also. Not Depeche mode, but I agree with what you said ambitious on the one album, I would say all of these being different do that.

Atmospheric black metal, pretty much their best record and hailed as one of the best albums across all genres of all time.
Well at least I know what Black Metal is, much different than I Imagined, I thought it would be someone trying to cough up a lung, obviously not geared towards me, but I enjoyed some of the tracks none the less.

Ace of Base - Swedish Band who obviously wrote and performed in Swedish you could tell was translated into English, but despite the visual effects, I always loved their sounds since their first Album The Sign.
