discord watermark in WoW?

There is a discord icon sitting near my character portait on the top left of my screen (only seen when i tab into WoW)

anyone know how to get rid of it?

Turn off the overlay.

User Options (gear icon in Discord) -> Overlay -> Enable in-game overlay

Slide that to off should disable it.

Yeah the latest Discord update auto-enabled that, annoyingly. Hoping it's just a bug and it wont happen every update.

Even after disabling it, it comes back every time I alt-tab. I have to go into the options, turn it back on, then off again. Every. Single. Time.
