Delay activation of a Stimpack in lootbox

Say I find a 3 day Stimpack in a lootbox, it says the Stimpack starts running on acceptance of the lootbox. If I wish can I close the game and come back tomorrow to accept the lootbox? Will it still be there ready to accept and activate?

Yeah, just don't accept the rewards and log out of the game.

Would be neat to have them as consumables. I assume that opens up stoxkpiling issues though
