My question to you is, what do you consider the pinnacle of PC gaming in the last 5 years that I should add to my collection?

If it helps I do enjoy my RPG's, had a blast playing Horizon: Zero Dawn and the remastered Last of Us on PS4 and I don't mind games that offer a shorter, more intense experience.
So good RPGs for PC from the last 5 years.

    Dark souls 3
    Divinity original sin 2
    The witcher 3
    Nier automata
    Nioh
    Dragon´s dogma
    The surge
    POE
    Grim dawn ashes of malmouth
    FFXII

I think i am not forgetting any relevant one (Single player) from the last five years, but others will point out if that is the case.
Can not help you with other genres i mostly play RPGs

While they ending may be kinda bullshit, the atmosphere and ride was really fun for Bioshock Ultimate. Heard decently good things about the Tomb Raider reboots. Newer Xcom games I think are pretty decent. Cities Skylines if you want a modern city-builder that isn't garbage like Sim City 2013. Some of the Neptunia games are on Steam if you want a weeb RPG.
