another quote that she will be the strongest

The more I read about her, the more I think she'll take a similar role to Sentry in the comics.
Which is kinda nonsense, because Sentry is an awesome character and I'd love to have him in the MCU.

THe whole power creep in super hero movies has moved into nonsense.
Pretty soon there will be a hero that can fire Thanos Bullets and fart out Galactus's at will.

Her loose fitting clothes should give her quite the edge in combat Im sure.
I like the concept of the Sentry but not the execution. The difference between Marvel and DC's heroes is that Marvels heroes are more often than not, flawed individuals with problems like the rest of us whereas a lot of DC that I have read they have been successful in their field and/or rich and/or have relatively few problems. The Sentry was a great idea but having a schizophrenic hero who just so happens to be one of the most powerful beings in the universe and his own biggest villain is a bit too complicated.
Though if they give Captain Marvel similar power levels then that would be cool.
I have red plenty of comics back in my teenage years. But for the most part it was all about Spider Man and Batman. I cared less about most other heroes because .... well they were stupidly invincible.
And to hear that the movies are toned down makes it even less appealing to me now. This is why I loved the Batman movies and hate most of the new Marvel movies except maybe the first Iron Man. Pretty soon we will see a universe sized being made up of Thanoses that consumes entire multiverses across all the known dimensions of existence ... but some kid in New York will be able to stop it.
