    Adults = 45+? WTF

Well I don't really take entertainment that seriously. It doesn't mean I cannot enjoy. It just means I am not basing my reality around it much. That is serious business. Me just having fun tonight on the internet playing some games or watching a movie/TV show? Not so serious.

    I'm watching some right now.

The reports of my death were surprisingly well-sourced and accurate.

    Because cartoons are for children.

Sadly, imo, the story wasnt all that great.

But thats just down to my subjective opinion i guess
10 episode seasons with the 2nd season having 3 fillers lol.

Story was awesome otherwise. A few art and sound choices were strange

OP said adults but I think he meant his parent's generation.

Anime is becoming more and more mainstream, and streaming services are bringing more and more of it to their platform. Netflix made a couple of episodes of Castlevania last year, so we are obviously seeing the first steps being taken.

To be fair, I once told a girl on Tinder to watch anime death note rather than the netflix one, and she unmatched me on the spot (i am 27 she is 26). Crazy biatch!

Yes. Millennials enjoy animation and cartoons, but generation of 45+ thinks it is just "Cartoons are for kids".

LUL ... If someone actually likes the Netflix version she saved you a lot of wasted time.

We would, if there were any good examples. I honestly can't think of a good western adult animation that wasn't a comedy, or a short film.

Then the OP should state that, not some random poster in the thread.

Why did you even quote me in the first place? Some of you people here are way weird.

Adults that can't take animation seriously on principle, don't strike me as very adult at all.

It's like UP!. So many adults dismissed it due to the colorful bird, funny-looking humans and balloons... Adults were in tears at the start. :<

I'm excluding anime, and Pixar is aimed at children. Doesn't mean they aren't enjoyable, I'm just talking about works aimed directly at adults.

There's a MASSIVE difference between the typical silly Saturday morning cartoons on Disney, Nickelodeon and things like that and some of the more "mature" themed animated shows on Cartoon Network and many Japanese animation (Anime).

    Your statement is incredibly obtuse.
