Why do some people get so defensive when someone says ANYTHING negative about WoW?

Vanilla/Classic experience wan't horrible at all - it was great and all went toward making WoW what it is, relevant to when it occurred.

Which is why I always says "for today's Standards" I loved Vanilla when Vanilla was all we had. But It has come a long way since then.

It's less about what they say than it is about how they say it.

Same for anything.

Doesn't help that a lot of the complaints are just complaints and not a complaint + idea how to fix the problem. Or even a desire to fix the problem. People just want to complain. Which is fine, but if you just want to state your opinions without having a discussion then you need to accept that some people will come in and state their opinions without caring what your position is.

It's a question that will never be answered and I'm not convinced that the op, who just yesterday advised people in another of his threads to stop posting if they had a different opinion than his, is really interested in a constructive discussion.

Besides the forum is for discussion about the game and not each other.

Constructive posting is more likely to get replied to constructively. Avoid framing your points in a way that is designed to only draw attention and then lacing your thread titles with exaggeration and clickbait is one way to begin to get to better discussions.
