I was shocked to hear it was a temp thing, You would think it was some last hurrah to save the game. But it seems almost like some quick money grab.

The temp thing isn't the only issue. It's not even classic.

They have no clue what the playerbase wants. People from what I read were asking for a classic version of the game. Not a warped version of it just because they can't be bothered to try and fix an older version of the client up or bring back the original soul trees.

Ya I never expected them to put in any effort for it, This is was 100% typical Trion approach which is why I seen it as train wreck before it left the station.
