    Monitor losing signal/flickering/black screen randomly

So I'm having this weird issue where my monitor randomly flickers and sometimes black screen loses signal from my PC (PC remains on). Half the time that the flickering occurs, the computer next to me also flickers. However, the computer next to me never flickers if my computer isn't on. In order for my monitor to regain signal, I have to restart my computer. While the monitor was "off/black/no signal," I tried a different monitor with the PC still on and it still didn't have any signal (remained black/off).

Back story: a few months ago, my mouse randomly shorted out and maybe a day later, a USB on the back of the other PC next to me stopped working. I can't recall if we had a power outage or not around the same time.

I've replaced the motherboard, CPU, and GPU. Actually replaced the GPU 3 times (same GPU model). Also made sure all cables were attached securely and correctly.

    Current Specs are as follows:

ASUS ROG Maximus X Formula Z370 ATX Motherboard
    i7-8700k
    GTX 1080 TI KingPin
    Corsair Dominator Platinum 2666
    Corsair AX1200i power supply
Asus ROG Swift 2560x1440 144hz monitor

    Old Specs are as follows:
    Asus Rampage V Extreme
    i7-5930k
    everything else the same

One last thing, the two PCs are connected to the same wall but different outlets. Unsure if this matters at all. Don't really think the other PC next to mine has anything to do with anything because it works fine. It just flickers when mine does but only if mine is turned on obviously.

I'm thinking maybe there's a bad cable or faulty power supply at this point? Hopefully someone can shed light on this situation because I'm at a loss.

Unable to gain access to the PC in question at the moment so basically going off what was said above.

I would first look into something like this https://www.amazon.com/Belkin-8-Outl...urge+protector if you haven't already, what you describe to me looks more like power issues then computer issues.

are you using type F electrical socket? did you tried with extension cord on some other socket which isn't on same fuse?

We have this problem at work. It usually occurs when we stand up, or get a finger too close to the screen. We have not been able to find a solution, but I would suggest that the screen is not insulted properly from static electricity and various other wireless signals, especially those that carry power. In other words, bad display.

I am not sure about this however, so if anybody else here knows more I'm all ears.

Like @Denpepe said, most likely faulty wiring in the house, you would need a specialist to tell you exactly what is going on, doesn't sound computer related. Not sure how effective that surge protector would be, though.

As for power related issues, there are two different types:
    1) Outage: when you lose power. UPS will help to keep your devices powered on https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_n...d-keywords=ups it's not too harmfull, since it's the same as pulling the plug, it might do some light damage, but usually the damage will be in PSU or software related (when talking about PC's)
    2) Spike/Surge: when power goes up, usually lasting less than a thousandth of a second, but it's more dangerous than an outage, a cheap UPS might not help against a very powerfull surge, a more powerfull surge can damage the wiring, which is what is happening to you, I believe. PM me weird stuff :3
