    Pixel inversion/vertical lines G-Sync 240hz monitor problem

Hello. I bought a new monitor with G-Sync and 240hz - Dell AW2518H. I am really sad because when I turn G-Sync on, I can clearly see some vertical lines (I believe it's called pixel inversion) when I move. When I just stand in one place, everything is OK, but when I strafe to left or right for example, I can see those lines. When I turn off G-Sync - the problem is gone. But that's not solution for me, because it cost 500€ cause of G-Sync. Is there some solution to this problem? Or do I need it to return to the retailer? Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Sorry, I noticed that this problem happens without G-Sync aswell.

Inversion is also called pixel walk, typically found on higher refresh rate monitors due to voltage control going from positive to negative and back, hence the name inversion (polarity inversion). It'll look like the pixels are moving though they're not, thus why it's called pixel walk.

If you can, take a picture of what you're talking about.

I can't really take a picture of it, I tried, but please google this: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz pixel inversion - and open up the first link. There, on page 23, a user called Blaskotron posted a picture of my problem.

Yeah, that'd be a pattern. You can't do anything about it. It's sadly very common with high refresh rate displays though they will appear in lower refresh rate too, just not as obvious.
If you want to see how bad it is, take a poke at this.

Like my U2414H has problem with 2b and 4b but my FG2421 doesn't have any problem with it.

None of them is flickering for me. Does it mean it's ok then?

Well, that one is only a test for certain but most common scenarios for it to occur and they're very uncommon to meet. It's good that the more painful one isn't there. Either way, the thing you're mentioning isn't something you can control.

I returned the 27" 1440p G-Sync Dell I bought back in like November because of pixel inversion.

It was very apparent, it looked like this:

It wasn't as pronounced as this, but it was very noticeable and distracting.

Yeah, this is what I'm talking about. I think I'm going to return the monitor because it wasn't cheap...and the image, or screen or how to call it... looks better on my 144hz BenQ XL2411Z than on 240hz Dell AW2518H. I thought I would have beautiful smooth screen with the new monitor..but the pixel inversion is just really distracting...

Guys, I would like to ask you. Are there any monitors with G-Sync 144hz+, 24-27 inches for example, that are known there is no pixel inversion problem with them?

this is what I'm talking about
