Allied Races - Lightforged Draenei
These Draenei have fought the Burning Legion across the cosmos for a millenia. Infused with the Light by a Naaru ritual, this faction of Draenei joined the Army of the Light and helped vanquish the Legion on Argus. With their main purpose fulfilled, the Lightforged Draenei have joined their brethren in the Alliance to counter Horde aggression.

Unlocking the Lightforged Draenei
To unlock the ability to make a Lightforged Draenei, the following achievements must be completed on one character on your account. Once done, you can make a Lightforged Draenei on any server that you have a 110 character provided you have purchased Battle for Azeroth.

• You Are Now Prepared! - Complete the Argus campaign
• Exalted with The Army of the Light

Classes
The Lightforged Draenei Allied Race can be any of these classes:

• Hunter
• Mage
• Paladin
• Priest
• Warrior

Racials
The Lightforged Draenei racial abilities give you an AoE blast, blacksmithing perks, increased experience when killing demons, a damage and heal upon death, and reduced holy damage taken.

• Light's Judgement - Call down a strike of Holy energy dealing Holy damage to enemies within 5 yards after 3 sec. 40 yd range, 2.5 min cooldown.
• Forge of Light - Summon a forge of light, enabling Blacksmithing. Blacksmithing skill increased by 10.
• Demonbane - Experience gains from killing demons increased by 20%.
• Holy Resistance - Reduce Holy damage taken by 1%.
• Light's Reckoning - When you die the Light avenges you, dealing Holy damage to enemies within 8 yards and healing allies.

Mounts
The Lightforged Draenei racial mount is the Lightforged Felcrusher. It is usable by all Alliance races upon completion of Allied Races: Lightforged Draenei.

A long-time companion of the Draenei, the elekk are stalwart and sturdy steeds capable of standing up to the impending darkness without fear.

Heritage Armor
If you level to 110 without a boost, you will be awarded with Heritage of the Lightforged, which grants the silver and gold heritage armor below. We've included the alternative colors that are currently unused as well.

Behold, the worst racials in the game. Holy resist is the least commonly used resistance in WoW.

The Flamestrike style racial is subject to diminish returns per target hit because it's an AoE. It has a long CD. It has a long gap between activation and impact.

The Explode When You Die is laughable. If you're a tank and you die the heal and damage are unlikely to make an impact as far as saving the rest of your frontliners. If you're a healer and you die you probably aren't standing with anyone for your explosion to make a difference. Same if you're a ranged DPS. I GUESS this could be okay in some kind of arena cleave comp but that's reeaaaally stretching to find a use for it.

+XP for killing demons is obviously useless once leveled and is way too situational to be worth a damn in most cases anyways.

Blacksmithing. Woo? Summoning the forge is kind of novel, but that's it. That's the best racial. Absolute garbage. It's a shame because these guys look super cool but the baseline Draenei outclass the Lightforged in absolutely every way.

Racials are not supposed to be something that will save the entirety of your raid, you know.

That's the same as saying that Touch of the Grave should represent 25% of any undead's DPS.

Oh they gave Lightforged a dark hair color after all? Thought it was just going to be several shades of white and one gold hair color so some more variety is nice.

I agree with Puppet that their racials are realllly underwhelming right now, but fortunately for me I'm a filthy casual these days so min\maxing racial bonuses isn't all that important to me anymore.

Definitely going to roll a glorious Lightforged paladin at some point!

If Light's Judgement hits as hard as the current Light's Judgement ability that could end up pretty strong. Considering all other races get a 1% damage boost from somwhere and these guys lack it they could well have decided to roll all that power into a single long cooldown ability to make it hit pretty hard. The delay before it goes off also suggests it hits hard and they wan't to prevent it being too cheesy in PvP.

Also, worth mentioning, the existing Drenai racials are pretty bad, it's scant praise at best but by comparison these are ok.

They look good. but they have by far the worst racials in the game. even compared not non allied races, and that is saying somehting as so far Highmountain tauren have a permament damage reduction that will be stupid good for aoe tanking. Void elves have a Demonic circle, which is stupid good for pvp. and nightfallen got a 20 sec 50% aoe slow. And then here we have it. A what will only be a laughable AOE that takes time to activate. And a Deals less damage then their active one when they die..

The modelviewer shows the female getting a longer tail, the screenshots do not however. Can anyone tell me if i finally can get a longer tail on my draenei space wives?
