samsung galaxy j5 - SMS sound

while i can choose my phone call ringtone from music i have on the mobile or on cloud, i cant do that for SMS sound. there is just no option to add sounds from my phone. i can only choose ringtones from the default ones that the samsung has. any solution to this ?

couple of years back i had some other samsung, probably galaxy too and im pretty sure i could add my own SMS ringtones. what is this about ?
