Can you board the Paraxis on non-mythic Eonar?

I just was thinking about this. I dont do mythic raiding but I thought the paraxis stuff was a cool mechanic from reading dungeon journal. Just wanted to know if you can board it on lower difficulty even if its pointless

I think I tried once and you get just a debuff which ticks for 30% of your hp or smth.

This. I was curious what happens if you try to go there, and some defense mechanic kicks in and kills you within seconds.

The funny thing is that the Paraxis defense debuff is still there after the Paraxis is destroyed at the end of the encounter.

Yeh. I never understood why the ship wasn't involved on lower difficulties. It would be like if the conveyor belt wasn't there for lower difficulties of Siegecrafter blackfuse..

Normal/heroic aren't fixed raid sizes. You can't send up 5 with a 10-man raid so they'd have to adjust the number of portals going up dependent on raid size and thus every normal/heroic raider would have to memorize a chart of how many people need to go up based on the current composition in order to be able to beat the encounter at all. If one person doesn't go up you wipe even if you manage to kill the add with plenty of time to spare.
