I can't believe people want to bring orcs from an alternative universe and a different timeline.

Because they are different with lots of variety, not fucking brown orcs that have nothing unique about them whatsoever.

Those Orcs had little variety because they were from BC and it hasn't been updated since.

If they returned to them they could easily just make them look exactly like the Draenor orcs and say that all the clans are still there in some regard. Then we could have Kilrogg's son as their faction leader.

Better that than remember WoD exists in any form.

There's no datamined plot, people are using his discord with sylvanas to spin it into their own headcannon stories. You're not going to get orcs, we're not going to get humans.

always take datamined things with a grain of salt.

Thing is, no matter how Mag'har with some revamped visuals would add a lot more to Outland assets and presence, there's no feasible way for Blizzard to not reuse the already polished, more up-to-date contents from Draenor. Sadly this is why it's most likely going to be the horrendous AU orcs they will add to the game. Pros is that it might open the door to other good things that were at least great to see: other races with their cultures intact and unharmed by The Dark Portal explosions

We could go to Draenor and find out that AU Grommash united all the clans under one name, the uncorrupted, the Mag'har.

Visually speaking, Draenor orcs are much more interesting for a new race, because you can have customization options from the different clans, whereas Mag'har for the most part have just been shown as brown.

Lorewise, it'd make more sense to recruit the Mag'har (except for the fact that they were already recruited in TBC, but so have been other races that aren't playable), as they would be leaving a dead world and joining their people in Azeroth. The orcs from Draenor have nothing to do with our Azeroth or its history, and other than being bored with the lack of enemies, they can safely stay in their world.

Bringing allies from an alternate reality is a can of worms Blizzard should be afraid of opening again, specially considering last time someone did it, it was a world threatening act of villainy that we spent months stopping. Making it somehow fine because they're joining the playable Horde instead of the NPC Horde requires quite a suspense of disbelief.
Yes, but the mount is the MAG'HAR Direwolf, the datamined map has 0 Iron Horde presence trust me I've checked, and honestly, Blizz probably sees that the clans are better left separate at least in the way of skins and tattoos, having the option to be a Blackrock with Warsong tattoos or a Laughing Skull with Bleeding Hollow tattoos would pretty much kill the immersion, not to mention send the lore freaks into a feeding frenzy

Personally, I think that Blizz could easily make an argument for using both Red and Brown skinned Orcs as part of their Orc Clans Allied Race if they so chose. I suspect they won't, but it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility.

Imagine this as a recruitment scenario. Thrall mentions wanting to revisit Greatmother Geyah in Nagrand (Outland) to recruit the Mag'har Orcs to the Horde. You join him on that journey, but you quickly discover that Outland has become almost unlivable within the Twisting Nether. The Void has started to take hold, Outland does not have long to go. Not wanting to see his people die, Thrall tries to get them to evacuate, but they refuse to leave the Throne of Elements. You fight off parts of the Void, escorting Geyah to the Throne of the Elements where she receives a vision of other orcs living within AU Draenor. From here, you go along with Thrall to Grommash and Durotan on a diplomatic mission to allow the Mag'har to live among the Warsong tribe in Nagrand (Draenor). After some convincing (and probably some fighting against either the Void or the Infinite Dragonflight), the Orcs of Draenor are convinced and allow the Mag'har to cross over and live in Nagrand. This unified set of Orcs is what joins the Horde.

Sure, but then take the armor and the mount with a grain of salt, too. We're talking about the same alpha here.

They will, it'll be Brown, Browner, and Revenge of Brown.

It's funny how we're all more willing to accept plain, no-story brown Orcs of Outland than remember AU Orcs in any fashion.

All the while we can have a decent story of Fel Orcs, with drastic enough customization and a culture far more brutal and interesting than "Mud Hut Culture." Hell, even make Hellfire Peninsula a Warfront. Make Outland worth something in BfA. And with Legion being currently defeated, it can present a decent story of some kind (especially since we've done and forgotten it as hard as AU Draenor). Mag'har have been "redeemed" and all we have to do is walk in and hand them an axe. STORY!

But no, just accept Bland N' Brown cause it'll been easier to dodge AU anything.

Visually and culturally, the Draenor Orcs are far superior.

I'd also appreciate it if those 2 years we spent on Draenor turned out not to have been in vain after all. The story events there having had any influence on Azeroth is a major gripe of mine.

But Mag'har Orcs have a rep grind named after them, so I'm going to be pessimistic and say that that will be why Blizzard will go that route.

Just keep in mind at the end of WoD. The races there basically said if you need our help let us know lol.

Had it been Outland orcs, they would've been only called that or "Mag'har"

Draenor orcs is referring to not just the brownies but other orc tribes as well.
Brown orcs by themselves do not justify an allied race, but combined with other orc tribes, it sure does.

Therefore it's referring to them as the tribes of Draenor, not the ones from outland.
