Help! is it worth to buy brand new computer?

    Hi everyone!

Here is the specs that I built my PC in 2012 (6 years old now)

    Corsair 200R tower
    Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm SSO CPU Cooler
Crucial M4 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT128M4SSD2
    Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W BX80637I53570K Desktop Processor
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
    CORSAIR Vengeance LP 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
    ASUS Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition DirectX 11 HD7870-DC2-2GD5 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP
Western Digital Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner - Bulk - OEM
    CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular

Mainly play WOW and use Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator (related to my work). It's starting to aging and I'm thinking about building brand new PC but wanted to hear your opinion to see if it's worth to upgrade or build a new computer.

If i decide to sell my PC and use my money to buy new PC, how much should i sell it for? I'm looking to sell for $400 if that's reasonable?

If you recommended me to build a new PC, my budge will be $1500. I'm more than happy to see the specs that you can give to me. I don't OC so I'm fine with air cooler like Noctura NH-D15 (newer version) and i would love to have 32GB RAM unless it's not necessary and I need new IOS system. I couldn't find software for Window 11, only Window 10.

    Thanks!

PC parts are overpriced atm. Wait till the DDR4 Ram price drop also the GPUs.
The Noctua NH-D15 cost 90$, why do you want to spend that much if you dont want to OC ?
Maybe get a bigger SSD and get some cheap 32GB DDR3 Ram.

I've been putting off upgrading my PC for about two years now and it's gotten to the point where I can't run most modern games at a consistent framerate, so I decided 2018 is going to be the year I do something about it. That said, everything in my PC is pretty old by now and I'm unsure if it's worth upgrading or if I should just replace the entire thing. I'm also unsure if it's cheaper to build your own PC or buy a pre-built one. So with all that said, my specs are; i5 760 2.8ghz 8gb DDR3 RAM HD 7850 2GB 2TB HDD ASUS P7P55D-E LX MOBO 650W Earthwatts PSU I'm pretty sure I can keep my case and HDD, though I do need to pick up and SDD at some point. Any feedback on what I should upgrade, if I should replace pretty much everything as well as whether or not it's worth buying a pre-built PC or if I should build it myself would be appreciated. I’m planning on getting a PC soon. The first thing i would install is steam. I would then begin the download just cause 2, including the DLC’s which compressed is about 3.8 gb. I have a download speed of 1.25 mb which should take about an hour or two because the internet slows down randomly. While that is downloading, i would install discord. Once just cause 2 is finished, i’d install the multiplayer mod/DLC. I’d play that while downloading Ark survival.
