This is a gaming site and the first thing you see from the community is click bait threads. I know politics and sensational media posts are hot topics for many people but can the "Recent Forum Posts" on the main page filter out non-gaming threads? I think it would set a better image for the site and the community.

EDIT: I mean for default settings. Why I said the "First" thing you see.

The default setting should be everything. Let individual users filter what content they don’t want to see.

By that logic an argument can be made that the default setting should be nothing which forces them to decide.
Keeping the main page free of "anti this" and "pro that", by default, best represents the purpose of this site.

Everyone can set their own filters based on their preferences. There's no reason to devote development time to change something everyone can customise on their own in a few seconds.
