Ill Govenor drinks chocolate milk to show benefit of diversity

If someone asks you to "Name a benefit of diversity other than music or food that needs spices to cover spoilage?" , you can answer chocolate milk

    http://thehill.com/homenews/state-wa...rate-diversity

"Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner (R) on Wednesday took a gulp of chocolate milk to demonstrate the positive effects of corporate diversity and inclusion.

During an appearance at the Thompson Center in Chicago, Rauner joined Hyatt Hotels diversity and inclusion executive Tyronne Stoudemire to discuss diversity in the workplace"

“Diversity is the mix, and inclusion is making the mix work,” Stoudemire concluded, inviting Rauner to drink the chocolate milk.

“It’s really, really good. Diversity!” Rauner declared to the crowd.

Rauner is up for reelection in November. He’s facing a primary challenge from state Rep. Jeanne Ives (R).
    People are unused to truth.
    People follow consistent truth.
Respect the power and impact of truth.
Men who speak truth drive value.

Zero idea what you were going for, I'm assuming race-baiting, but hard to say because you snipped the portion of the article where he actually makes his (valid) point:

“This chocolate syrup represents diversity," Stoudemire said, pouring some into the glass.

“When you look at most organizations, diversity sits at the bottom of the organization. You don’t get inclusion until you actually stir it up,” he continued, prompting Rauner to stir the syrup into the milk.

Weird way to express it but I can't say he's completely wrong.

I like chocolate milk. Even though we get 1% it is still a little too rich for my taste and mix it with about a third skim milk.

    Peace

It's a somewhat strange analogy, but I think most people an follow along if they read the article. The OP chopped it up in a disingenuous manner in order to make him look nuts.

In the end, this shows more about the Op than anything else. I'm guessing this is nothing more than a chance to push the candidate he wants, a die-hard religious conservative.

Can we all agree that Nestle Qwik is better than Hershey's syrup?

I grew up on the Nestle Quik powdered stuff. I prefer the syrup if I have to mix. 1% Chocolate milk here cost the same as regular skim milk so we just buy it the gallon thanks to a “milk war” between Kroger’s and Aldi. We can get it pretty inexpensive, $1.88/gallon.

    Peace

Considering the OP's posting history, that is a valid assumption pretty much 100% of the time.

How can 1% be too rich, in the UK at least 1% is called skimmed and its fucking disgusting, tastes like chalky water.

I normally drink full milk (about 4%). I think I'd be inclined to punch someone if the dared put skimmed milk in my tea.

That's a governor with a great sense of humor. You should learn from your leaders once in a while instead of insulting your flag.

Time for another diversity circle jerk where we pretend that physical different attributes are what truly defines diversity

How does drinking chocolate milk even show any benefit of diversity?

    Did you read the article?

Regular milk is a homogenous system.

Introducing a heterogenous element, (i.e. chocolate syrup) does not necessarily do anything to change the makeup of the homogenous system at large, as the diverse elements tend to be concentrated at the bottom end of the system.

By mixing the diverse elements throughout the system, the homogenous system ceases to be, and a heterogenous system takes its place.

The heterogenous system is preferable to the homogenous system with diverse elements sitting at the bottom.

It's silly, but it is an apt analogy.
