50 Shades of Greitens: Indicted and The Dreyfus Affair

For any people keeping tabs on Eric Greitens, the Republican governor of Missouri.

What the National Review once called “an astonishing, almost too-good-to-be-true résumé”: former Democrat, Rhodes scholar, Navy SEAL, founder of a nonprofit group that aids veterans, and best-selling author. At 43 he’s currently the second youngest governor in America, and he hasn’t done much to hide his presidential ambitions, visiting Iowa and registering the website “EricGreitensForPresident.com” back in 2009.

Missouri GOP Gov. Eric Greitens was indicted on Thursday amid looming allegations of sexual misconduct and blackmail following an admission of an affair last month. He was charged in St. Louis with a first-degree felony invasion of privacy, according to the Missouri court system.
In a statement Thursday, Greitens denied committing any crime and instead called the situation "a personal mistake" from his time prior to taking office.

The victim recounts the creepy episode at the 0:55 mark.

The Missouri GOP officially responds by blaming George Soros. So the state wing of the party is outright embracing conspiracy theories.

Amazing that the GOP claims to have accurate info regarding every person or group allegedly funded by Mr. Soros, but claims to have absolutely no idea about Russians helping their own candidates.

Are you really suprised at the GOP embracing conspiracy theories? Just look at how hard the deplorables here tried to shift light away from Donny Jr. Look at their embrace of a pedo for the Senate.

I wonder who the new favorite GOP boogeyman will be when George Soros passes away. Any strong contenders?

Needs to be someone that can unite the neo-nazi and segregationist wings of the party.

I'd bet money on either Carlos Slim or Oprah as the new boogeyman.

Nah, the traditionalists will never accept a boogeyman that isn't (((Jewish))).
