Did Blizzard delete all the old forums? Maybe just password protected?

I used to play wow 2006-2009 and made a lot of friends in the game. I wanted to nostalgia-out and went looking for the forums from that era but couldn't find them. Any chance those are publicly visible somewhere? Good times were had.

Don't think I can find them

You might be able to find some of it on an internet archive site, but that's about it. They gave people several months of warning back before they made them unavailable, though.

Yeah, they censor everything every few years to basically nullify the decades worth of complaints the game has gotten, don't want people waking up to smell the coffee seeing a 10 year old post with problems that have still been left unresolved.

Crazy conspiracies aside - they moved from a WoW forum to a Battle.net based forum.

Challenge Mode : Play WoW like my disability has me play:
You will need two people, Brian MUST use the mouse for movement/looking and John MUST use the keyboard for casting, attacking, healing etc.
Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.

Forums are usually prone to security issues too, so it makes sense they removed them even from the archive.

You should be able to find it thru the waybackmachine on http://archive.org/web/

    This is a good suggestion.

This thread doesn't have anything to do with the upcoming Classic WoW implementation so will be closed.
