Whole bunch of yes to that! Tentacle toggle to change them into braids would rock (even just turn them into normal locks of hair). Either way, a toggle would dramatically increase the available number of hairstyles if you don't want tentacles.
Of course, it would also be nice to have some non-goth hairstyles. These could be pulled from humans and Kul Tirans so the blood elf players don't feel poached.
Gonna be honest chief, at one point I wasn't sure what they were even arguing about -like on page 3 of their argument- lol
This x100! I have already shared my mock ups for that before, but a braid toggle would really be an awesome way of dealing with the tentacles. Even so, a far more cost efficient on/off tentacle toggle would be enough!
At the end of the day VE's -and AR wholesale- just have way fewer hairstyles than core races now :/ So I really hope they add more than just three. IMO, a good option would be to make AR and origin CR* share hairstyles -so let's say, Maghar get all the Orc hairstyles and vice versa)
*To keep the distinction between VE/NE and NB/NE, they could instead swap hairstyles with the race they are closer in their faction. NB could get the Blood Elf hairstyles and vice versa, and VE could get either human -if we consider that are the race they are closer since we see them on Stormwind- or Night Elf -because they are closer kin wise-
Are you still playing WoW Tal? Or did you swap servers or something? I tried pulling up your armory to see your transmog but I only got an error when I tried.
Oh I transferred the char and changed the name! Wasn't really feeling Tal as a character -part of the reason why I used him on forums, he didn't have much of a background and kinda was a throwaway alt for bag making purposes lol- now he looks like this!
My ally main has been my Helf warrior since VE's are playable -used to be a paladin hehe-
Ah Thanks for sharing the mog appearance! Looks great!
Here's my own "High Elf" Warrior. I'm holding out hope for a tentacle toggle because I really like his hairstyle but the tentacles kind of throw off the look:

I try to think of the tentacles as braids hehe!

Now THAT is a look *chef's kiss*
I'm kinda neutral to the idea of VE paladins, but I would want them for that aesthetic alone tbh

Since Blood Elves got both purple and blue now, which were originally unique to Void Elves on the playable models, I think it's high time for Void Elves to get both green and gold color eyes. They were created from Blood Elves, so it doesn't make sense for them to lose options they had before. That applies to hair color as well.
Void elves DESERVE green eyes. It makes absolutely NO sense to give them blue eyes but not green eyes, or did Blizzard forget that there are Silvermoon scholars too in Telogrus Rift?
Aside from that, I am surprised Void elves still do not have black eyes. I mean, black is the colour of the Void. The Void is nothingness, the Void is endless darkness... the Void is black, as I was saying:
This would fit the Void elves perfectly. You might say "it is so creepy", and that is the point. I think some people are forgetting that Void elves are meant to be creepy, to make you feel uneasy, because they are infused with the darkest power in the entire cosmos.
It was kind of a bummer male BE's didn't get anything cool like scars or tattoos tbh, but they still remain one of the best models in game.
But yeah, San'layn/Undead Elf options for BE's would have been so freaking awesome *sigh*

While from a lore standpoint I could easily see the green eyes being possible for Blood Elves -since we have seen Void and Fel as complementary forces in several characters- the golden feels rather anathema to what Void Elves are: as long as Void Elves are that and not a generalization of thalassians on the alliance, it would be way too contradictory regarding the lore that a Void Elf whatever degree they might be, to present light infused eyes.
Of course, they could simply say that Void Energies dispel the Fel radiation or whatever, but hardly would be anything but justification for aesthetics, which is an entirely different thing.
And yeah, since Alleria is blonde, we know hair color should be able to be kept -one would consider that skin tone would be harder to keep lol, and VE's get that heh-
I agree it would be out there a bit to give them gold, but I also like the idea of upsetting expectations and challenging the status quo, much like playing a Lightforged Draenei shadow priest. Plus, I think the glowing eyes popping out of Entropic Embrace would look pretty badass, just like the lightforged eyes look when in shadowform. It actually ends up looking sinister, like this shadow with glowing eyes staring out at you.
i didnt want the purple eyes for blood elves. it doesnt make any sense.
Anemo: traveler, Sucrose
Pyro: Yanfei, Amber, diluc, xiangling, thoma, Xinyan, Bennett
Geo: Noelle, Ningguang, Yun Jin, Gorou
Hydro: Barbara, Zingqiu, Ayato
Cyro: Shenhe, Kaeya, Chongyun, Diona, Ayaka, Rosaria
Electro: Fischl, Lisa, Miko, Kujou, Raiden, Razor
I mean for sure it would have looked cool tbh, but yeah, as long as Void Elves are, well, VOID elves, I see really difficult for them to get golden eyes ever in terms of lore.

We don't even know what's the lore origin of those purple eyes -they use the old female HE eye texture but with a glow overlay- how can you know if they make sense for Blood Elves or not? XD
If they are meant as High Elf eyes -likely, given their source is a HE texture that has been in game since 2014- they make as much sense as all the other blue eyes Blood Elves have.
Blizz really opened another a can of worms with the purple - totally not the restored Sunwell Arcane blue argument - eye color for Blood Elves.
