Because for some you can't play a proper High elf Alliance side since they have a void form.

I think it's the conclusion that Blood Elf Priests, in lore, are Shadow Priests, when they aren't.

Indeed, with the renewed Sunwell, I'd say the common Blood Elf Priest are mainly Holy Priests. We saw Blood Elf Priests (Silvermoon Priest) on the Broken Scenario and they all used Holy Magic.

The vast majority are holy priests. But I don't see why a blood elf can't be a shadow priest.

It's a case by case basis.

The vast majority of Silvermoon Priests are Holy, but no doubt, some would dabble in the void. Like most things, majority rules.

Hell, when the Forsaken return to Lordaeron, we could get playable Humans on the Horde, so by extension, Lordaeron could be in the hands of some Humans again...just on team red.

yes at this point I think the Argent Lordaeronians should be just Horde at this point, since the Forsaken are literally their own brethren and it would be more sensible to renew their alliance with the Blood Elves, as they were allies before and protecting them from the Alliance would be their sincere reparation after Garithos attempted to mass murder Kael/Rommath and their comrades given that the Argents are the closest descendants of Garithos' New Alliance Remnants. Also Eligor Dawnbringer and Korfax are friends with Eitrigg and Maxwell Tyrosus is implied to be acquantances with Liadrin.

I think it can be done lorewise by making Turalyon sanction them for doing nothing in the Fourth War and on Sylvanas' actions in Southern Lordaeron, and pulling out the Alliance from all of Eastweald and cutting off trade with them and then the Argents can only seek help with the Horde for protection

But still I prefer Alteraci Humans to be playable and the Lordaeronians to be just special non-playable allies like the Highvale/Silver Covenant on the Alliance

I don't know why Quel'thalas proper would ever want to be with the Alliance; the Blood Elves will never forget the Alliance's neglect for them for 6 years and they all would've died there were if not for Rommath's miracle and the Horde's assistance

I highly doubt the Argents will ever pick a side, they're like the third largest faction. Their leader was a massive proponent of working together and Tyrosus is his successor. I could see them stonewalling both side's leadership if pressured and just locking off eastern Lordaeron from both sides. They control the Plaguelands and with the also neutral Cenarion Circle are cleansing it. They'd be a nation unto themselves with that kind of land able to be used again and a neutral haven for those who are sick of the factional bickering. They'd toss whoever holds Andorhal out because if it's the forsaken, they literally are/were trying to replague the land, and the alliance for trying to colonize land with people from westfall instead of Lordaeronian natives, unliving or living.

I think it's wrong how people believe that Blood Elves should not be developed anymore, kicked out of their city and Sin'dorei fans made to feel like what the Night Elves are going through now. Almost like Night Elf fans want to blame Sin'dorei fans for what happened in BFA.

Look, Night Elf and High/Void Elf fans:
I know what happened to Darnassus and the night elves being homeless in Stormwind. Now you want me to feel sympathy for the Night Elves and want them back in their own city on Kalimdor - well, I'm not willing to do that if you want my favorite race to suffer in the same way, because what your basically saying is it's not right for you to feel upset when your favorite race suffers, but it's perfectly alright that the Sin'dorei suffer and the Sin'dorei fanbase goes through this, but (to make matters worse) on a permanent scale and if we want improvements, then we should be told - "go Alliance then."

All I really want for HE's/VEs is like a new home thing, not some space rock but some island, give them some kind of stable foothold instead of being enclaves in tons of cities. Like say one of those expedition islands recently explored that had all of the corrupted/pirate/old god enemies cleared out...
Then they can have a new beginning...Or choose to continue bickering with Silvermoon but at least they'd have an actual home of some sort and the desperation to return to Quel'thalas wouldn't be so pronounced anymore. I like the political divide, it can make for some interesting story but we've not had that, we just have fanbases hating each other with no direction.

@Tanaria I realy hope we will see a updated Quel'thalas with Silvermoon, but I would also like to see Quel'danas updated and feel more connected to the main land. The dock could play a vital role here.

To me, silvermoon is the home of the blood elves, and the blood elves are members of the horde, ergo silvermoon is a horde capital. I just don't see that ever changing, at least not without the eradication of the faction divide first.

Yeah, Void elf shadow priest could pass as High Elf shadow priest. Same maybe for DK and Warlock (maybe sub rogue too). For every other class/spec turning into a void thingy kinda ruins the whole high elf fantasy.

I thought Outland is disintegrating/destabilizing judging from that Saurfang cinematic in BfA where he visits Thrall. Unless something can be done to slow/stop that (though Void Elves could try and use the Void to do this and prove that the void isn't always just borderline psychotic tendency and can in fact be used for non-destructive purposes) I don't think the Allerian Stronghold would be a long term settlement. But I do like the idea a lot.

The whole of Quel'Thalas (incl Quel'Danas) needs to be updated for the Horde. Maybe, in a racial pride expansion, where each organisation is explored, perhaps Quel'Danas could be the primary foothold for Liadrin's Blood Knights and the Sin'dorei Priests.

Silvermoon City is where the Magisters and Warlocks are primarily based.

Eversong and the Ghostlands are where the Farstriders are based.

And I do believe that the people who want Quel'Thalas are setting themselves up for major disappointment, since Blizzard have said themselves that they won't be touching another faction war conflict. It's ridiculous to think that Lor'themar, Rommath and even Liadrin would join the Alliance. They are Blood Elves. They are proud to identify as Blood Elves, as indicated by Liadrin during the Sin'dorei Heritage armor questline.

The idea that Sin'dorei and Shal'dorei should be ignored and homeless thereafter, is something else that is so hilariously absurd, that we know Blizzard wouldn't do that.

Or, Void Elves could move to the ruins of Zin-Azshari. It's a city that is fully into Void and Arcane now...right up the Void Elf Magisters' street. Again, create a void shield that would prevent the city from ever being underwater again.

Ohh, Or they could make the shield and make Azeroth Atlantis/Rapture, and the water covers the shield making it a bubble city beneath the waves. Lots of opportunity for deep voidy stuff in the deep sea.

There are rumors that Outland is unstable and deteriorates slowly into Twisting Nether. Besides, Azeroth is their home. They should base their home there. That's why I'm not huge fan of Telogrus Rift in the first place too. These elves are not allowed to live in their homeland and most of them accepted that fate. At least, let them be in their homeworld.

Teldrassil was a Horde capital before the Horde decided to burn it to the ground.

Silvermoon is and will always be the home of the Blood elves, that's a fact.

But I think the void elves under the guidance of Alleria will try to conquer it at some point.

Personally I think it's important for the Void Elves and High Elves to have a home on Azeroth proper; Void Elves specifically need to feel like part of the world, and the best way to do it is to be literal about it. That's one of the big problems of Telogrus, besides being just, barren.

And island could be great, but I'd prefer to be a place with some significance/importance, and in that case I think Highborne ruins would be a nice bet, as they can draw from that legacy as an unifying point + it would mesh with making feel the world feel more alive and evolving.

Maybe the VE's raising some of Zin'Aszhari could work because of the connection the area now has to the Void thus allowing further study, or maybe they could reclaim Shandaral because Northrend could use some present lore relevance, plus the aesthetic of the zone slaps, and in Chronicles their habitants are depicted as "High Elves" even if they wouldn't be of the same group of Dath'remar.

Could work...maybe in a revamped Quel'Thalas, their are a group of void elves who are trying to take Silvermoon, but since this is from the Horde's PoV because Quel'Thalas is a Horde starting zone, the Sin'dorei push them back.
