Telogrus is a curiosity and a place to research the Void, and little else. If the Ren'dorei want a stable location to build their own capital they'd need to look elsewhere.

Quel'Danil is a bit crowded, but I suppose it could work if some of its current occupants left or if the lodge was built up into something a bit more spacious and impressive. I think it would be interesting for the Ren'dorei to recover one of Azeroth's many Night Elven ruins as their base of operations - perhaps Seradane, also in the Hinterlands, or even an out-of-the-way locale like the unnamed ruins in Mannoroc Coven of Desolace.

It's quite the opposite. In fact, I'd see High Elves as a neutral race with their own customization as well as Void Elf customization for the Alliance and Blood Elf customization for the Horde.

The devs said it years ago that the high elves are added as a playable race as customization for void elf and blood elf as wildhammer for dwarves.

So, it'd be a completely redundant race?

    They're a subrace.
    Same with Darkfallen / San'layn.

People really need to just get over it already and just start asking for more customization for Blood / Void Elves in general.

Serenade is a perfect place to build a new city

Something I always personally thought would be really cool! (just an opinion)

The original High Elves in Vanilla were on Night Elf Models. They look soo cool in my opinion. I really would love if these character options were available to Night Elves the same way they were given to Void Elves and even Blood Elves.

Figures, another bait thread about elves. When will you people learn?

  10. #26330
I just joined to share it, wasn't trying to bait anything. TBH hoping Blizzard sees this someway somehow and it gets implemented. Have a great day though Arikara!

I hope they'll have a new animation model for Midnight, I find the current one really bad and weird.

I hate how stupidly large weapons are on male blood elves, the janky run animation - something weird happens with the shoulders, like they're running with their shoulders raised up, I dunno. Would love to see all of that worked on but I highly doubt any of it will happen. Blizzard thinks 1 new skin tone and 5 new hair colors for one race is worth multiple blue posts. How could they possiby find time to work on animations as well? :P

Blood elves are high elves. High elves were renamed into blood elves by Kaelthas Sunstrider.

Okay but like, BE/HE 101: Did all the High Elves rename themselves Blood Elves?

They are the same race. Pledging to a different country won't change what you are.

Considering the biggest divide in WoW is the Faction Divide, thinking the political differences between High Elves and Blood Elves don't matter is so lol.

It's just wild that still to this day people like you don't seem to understand that the whole point of the appeal is the difference in political and ideological stances. Of course it might not be appealing to you, but denying it is for others is just outright ignorant or malicious.

I just don't get why "being the same race" invalidates being interested on the differences they do have, as if politics and ideology don't matter and haven't make them, explicitly, different groups in universe.

So they're no longer High elves, thanks you for pointing this out.

    They're Thalassian elves, yes.

High elves are with the Alliance. They usually build blue & gold elven buildings and hate being called "blood elves" while insisting they're not and will never be

High elves are not a race but a political group. Same for blood elves.

The Alliance gets the Horde's most popular race. The Horde should get the Alliance's most popular race in return. Alteraci Humans for the Horde!

With the latest development of Neutral Gilneas, there is no doubt left that the Thalassian people will reunite in Midnight, which will also mean that Quel'Thalas and whatever is left of Silvermoon will become Neutral and open up to the Alliance too.

It is natural; it is logical. Long before Thrall was conceptualized by Metzen, long before his "New Horde" was a thing, Silvermoon was a founding member of the Alliance of Lordaeron.

The Alliance is coming home in Midnight. The High Elves are coming home in Midnight. @elbleuet
