The changes to Telogrus are set for what's to come.
The recent NPCS of High Elven Mages of the Silver Covenant and Dalaran and the Blood Elven Mages of the Sunreavers should indicate where we're going in Midnight.

I have no doubt that Midnight will involve both the Sunreavers and Silver Covenant.
I do hope High Elves take up a more active role in "Arcane Mage" affairs and Blood Elves take up a bigger role in "Fel Magic/Warlock" affairs - especially if we're saying goodbye to the Sunwell.

You're probably right but only because Blizzard makes very strange political developments in the story. The Sunreavers & Silver Covenant have no connection to Silvermoon: They're citizens of Dalaran.

Perhaps Lorethemar takes them in in response to Dalaran being destroyed. But if that's the case, the proposed idea of Silvermoon being a neutral hub will only be for the duration of Midnight & Dalaran will probably be rebuilt before 13.0.

Though I still prefer my idea that the new Exodar will fly over Quel'thalas & be the Alliances hub for Midnight.

The Sunreavers do have a connection to Silvermoon, as they are Blood Elves.

By lore standards, they are associated with both the Magisters of Silvermoon, their own group within the Kirin Tor as well as the Horde - likely the Kirin Tor Blood Elf Mages around Northrend, whom you see in the Horde Camps.

That's like saying Kul Tirans have a connection with Stormwind, because they're human. They *know* the Magisters of Silvermoon but they're only connection is they chose the pre-arathi aesthetics of Quel'thalas to draw upon; that's it. An elf cannot know two masters, so to speak.

They have pretty much always been dual citizens, though for the most part ultimately loyal to Quel'thalas. Kael'thas himself being a prime example.

The crown prince of Quel'thalas was part of Kirin Tor and lived in Dalaran. It's the same with the Sunreavers, employed and accommodated by a neutral faction, but their ultimate loyalties are for their original homeland.
Now you see it. Now you don't.

    But was where Dalaran?

Those "High elves" npcs pictures posted on last pages are fraud. High elves are not black, they are fair skin according to the lore.

Despite of every woke blue haired yellers, black skin tone for high elves is a blasphemy and a fraud to the lore.

They have shorter ears and much smaller, lighter bodies than night elves. In addition, their ears usually point upwards whereas those of the night elves do not.

High elves have white, red, orange brown, black, and blonde colored hair and fair skin, most have brilliantly intense sapphire coloured eyes that glow (at least in World of Warcraft). In World of Warcraft high elves have blue, sapphire glowing eyes (but have more variation according to lore, including green eyes[5][15]). The blood elves have only green, emerald glowing eyes to show their magic addiction and their newly acquired addiction to fel magic.

I believe Garithos was from Lordaeron. Dalaran intentionally stayed out of the faction conflict since the 2nd war.

No counter argument on that from me.

One, the wiki is the not an authoritative source and its statements are only based on what was observable for the longest time in-game. Two, who the hell cares? Black elves are harmless, especially when we've had much more insufferable wokisms pumped down our throats for the last few expansions. There are many millennialisms in the current lore, but black elves aren't one of them. They're irrelevant. Third, even if it were one of the more wretched things we had to suffer, it's not a "blasphemy". If you seriously think that, stop being overdramatic and get a real religion and real framework beyond media consumption.

You know, perhaps Sunwell reignited with new energies resulted in new transformation among elves... it definitely brought golden eyes, so it could bring darker skin tones as well. With their culture being heavily focused on Sun, darker skin tones definitely feels thematic. It is very minor thing actually which does not have negative impact.

Huh? Dalaran was just annhilated by the Scourge right before Silvermoon was. Why would they be responsible for what a random Lordaeron lord is doing?

the Kirin Tor council may have witnessed the sentencing, Rommath himself said the two just watched and let it happen

Kirin Tor was in shambles, their leader, Antonidas, just died. It is possible surviving members of the council were in chaos.
I also thought Garithos claimed leadership of what remained of the Alliance, meaning he was on the top of the hierarchy. That would mean Kirin Tor would fall under his orders, so surviving Council of the Six members could not effectively do much in that situation. Questioning his decisions would most likely result in Garithos punishing them. It could also reinforce the decision why Kirin Tor later decided to leave Alliance and become neutral faction.

This situation is not very well explained and most of this is just left for discussions and will most likely remain this way forever.

It's not made clear as to why Modera and the sort remained very silent on the execution...but their must have been a degree of defiance somewhere because Kael'thas' old Mage tutor, a female high elf, was still part of Dalaran and the Kirin Tor, as she completely disagreed with having the Naga as allies and so she remained behind with the Kirin Tor (obviously later joined with Malygos.)

It must have been after Garithos had left and Modera remained behind...now that he was gone, Modera perhaps rallied any High/Blood Elves who disagreed with Kael'thas and hence...they remained as Kirin Tor Mages (whilst some defected to Malygos.)

another Re-Reforged Silvermoon progress video; Valiyant's map base also looks good I think, I wonder if the High Elfers would approve

The wiki is literally pulling from various sources like books all the way from 2007 and even earlier and even in game items if I remember correctly, what is an "authorative source" according to you?
    The f*cking (retcon) chronicles? lol

Why would the sunwell do the opposite to what it did before, it made them lose their pigmentation, you know what happens when something loses its pigmentation?
    It gets lighter in colour.
Stop pretending like the dark skin they added doesn't go against already established old ass lore and that it's not just some DEI nonsense.

Anyone still complaining about black elves should be permanently banned from these forums, the game and everywhere else for their insufferable racism.
