    It gets lighter in colour.
Stop pretending like the dark skin they added doesn't go against already established old ass lore and that it's not just some DEI nonsense.
Sunwell used to be made purely of arcane infused waters of original Well of Eternity. Now it is infused with Light (Naaru core) and also arcane energies harvested from Netherstorm (distilled Nether)... So it is pretty much different Sunwell to what it used to be. That's the reason why it can now manifest it's influence on elves differently (and it already does).

It always confused me when Thalyssra states "as potent as the Nightwell, but of a different nature.." because I always thought that, "girl, this is a small part of your former Queen's Well of Eternity...surely you should recognise it.."

But, it being combined with Arcane energies of the Netherstorm makes sense since neither Thalyssra nor her Nightborne Magisters have ever been to the Netherstorm...or even Outland.

She could sense the difference either in Light essence of the M'uru's core or arcane energies of harvested Nether... or both.

Either way, I think it is enough evidence to assume that modern Sunwell is different to the original one, which was made purely out of Well of Eternity. We also looted vial with waters of Well from Kael after his first defeat in Tempest Keep, so I believe none of this water used to restore Sunwell - he no longer had it.

Sure, new blood elf customizations like golden eyes and dark skin might not be direct result of new Sunwell, but seeing new NPCs using these customizations, it pretty much make these character features canon for the race.

Do you think then...if the Sunwell had remained as it was (was purely just Anveena) without Light and Arcane Netherstorm influences...then Thalyssra would be able to detect the old Well of Eternity? Just like she did when her and Occuleth were in Nazjatar?

It's an interesting topic...and makes the Blood Elf/Nightborne Mage union even more interesting.

With Liadrin and Halduron and an unnamed female ranger in the back...wouldn't be Vereesa as she was too young during the Second War. A Ranger Apprentice..

Which Sunwell would be better for the Re-Reforged?

The Alliance gets the Horde's most popular race. The Horde should get the Alliance's most popular race in return. Alteraci Humans for the Horde!
